Review of Krazzy 4 Bollywood Movie 2008

Krazzy4 was one of the most anticipated movies of the year so far because of the hype created around it with the help of some slick item song videos featuring Sharukh Khan and Hritik Roshan and a raunchy number featuring Rakhi Sawant. The film also generated unnecessary and negative publicity due to a law suit over copyright violation. The issue was sorted out by Rakesh Roshan paying 2 crore Rupees to the producer. The movie was jinxed as it made a loss of 2 crore Rupees even before it was released.

Going by the past record and credentials of the promoters of Krazzy4 one would not be wrong to believe that this movie would be a great entertainer. The Roshans have been known for their high success rate in the Box Office due to the wholesome family entertainment they provided. Even the actors of  Krazzy4 Arshad Warsi, Irfan Khan, Rajpal Yadav and Suresh Menon (who has a huge fan following on TV) are known for their comic flare. Hence when all these people come together people would rightly expect Krazzy4 to be an extreme laugh riot.  Well what do you think?

Krazzy4 is about 4 mentally challenged men who each  have different mental disorders and are being treated by Dr.Suman (Juhi Chawala). Raja (Arshad Warsi) is an ex-cricketer who has serious anger management issues which caused the breakup between him and his love Shikha (Dia Mirza) and is thus being treated or his illness. Dr. Mukherjee (Irfan Pathan) is a cleanliness freak. His obsession gets out of control and becomes a disorder. Gangadhar (Rajpal Yadav) suffers from split personality due to his research on the freedom struggle which causes him to think that he is a pre-independence freedom fighter. Dabboo (Suresh Menon) has an illness called selective mutation disorder which means that he can speak but no one, not even he knows when or where he will. Thus he remains silent throughout the movie except to speak one word (kidnap) and a dialogue towards the end. Why he acts like a child is something the audience has to keep guessing at with no answer)
