RI`s envoy dedicated Alba-Nizza public health center in Klaten

Rome-based Indonesian Ambassador to Italy, Malta and Cyprus as well as to the FAO, IFAD and WFP Susanto Sutoyo on Monday dedicated the Alba-Nizza public health center in Gantiwarno sub-district, Klaten regency, Central Java province, built with the assistance of the people of the Italian towns of Alba and Nizza Monferrato.

First Secretary of the Indonesian embassy in Rome Pramudya Sulaksono said on Tuesday during the inaugural ceremony Ambassador Susanto Sutoyo was in the company of Dr. Roberto Cerrato, deputy mayor of Alba and Dott Maurizio Carcione, and Mayor of Nizza Monferrato.

The public health center (puskesmas) dubbed Alba Nizza was handed over to the Klaten regency administration represented by Klaten Regency Head Samiadji, in the presence of the head of the Central Java Health Agency representing the Central Java province.

Pramudya Sulaksono said on the occasion that the Alba-Nizza in Klaten was a reflection of the care of the people of Italy, especially residents of Alba and Nizza Monferrato, Regione Piemonte, to Indonesia, especially the people of Klaten who had been rocked by a strong earthquake which hit Yogyakarta and Central Java province last year killing 6,500 people, including 1,600 in Klaten, last year.
