Rice prices in Pakistan on declining trend
Rice is the only commodity in Pakistan the price of which is witnessing a declining trend, perhaps because of harvesting of the new crop. Interestingly, the decline in price is not to ease pressure of growing inflation on public but to fleece the growers.
The price of rice in Pakistan has witnessed a sharp decline of Rs20 to Rs30 per kilogram in the open market as the commodity was being sold in the range of Rs50 to Rs90 per kg in the country.According to market survey the prices of all varieties of rice have been on declining trend for the last few days due to a couple of reasons.
