Rick Santorum Appeared at a Shooting Range on March 23, 2012 and Someone Shouted "Pretend It's Obama" As He Shot at a Target. Here is Video

Well, this is ugly. Republican nominee Rick Santorum was at a shooting range during a recent campaign stop in West Monroe, LA and as he shot at a target an onlooker shouted "Pretend it's Obama." There was a smattering of laughter after the comment.

Santorum had headphones on at the time and didn't hear the "Pretend it's Obama" comment at the shooting range.

When told about the comment, Santorum quickly denounced it.

"It's absurd. No, we're not pretending it's anybody," he said, shaking his head. "We're shooting pistols and, you know, very horrible, terrible remark and I'm glad I didn't hear it."

This incident is under investigation.

A representative from the Secret Service confirmed the incident and the fact that the agency is looking into the matter, but couldn't provide further details.

"We are conducting the appropriate investigative steps," said George Ogilvie, public affairs officer for the Secret Service.
