The man has his priorities straight, right. Actually, I would not take the thing off. It must have been a safety requirement.

Want to know why there is organized labor and unions? Read this. It is because “management” will push workers to the limit of safety and beyond. Nothing changes. The richer they are, the greedier they get.

Houston, Texas (CNN) -- Stephen and Sara Stone say they never thought their six-month marriage would be tested so soon.

But on April 20, a day before her husband was scheduled to come home from a three-week stint on the offshore drilling rig Deepwater Horizon, Sara Stone found herself waiting to hear whether he was dead or alive.”

Stephen made it off the rig and could not tell his wife that he was safe for 26 hours thereafter.

"The richer they are,the greedier they get" is a maxim.Be it BP,Union Carbide or any other multinational robber-barron,safety norms are never adhered to if such norms cause decline in profits.

The Bhopal gas tragedy,a worst industrial disaster,in which thousands were killed and maimed and thousands are still under treatment, was result of voilation of standard safety procedures.Even faulty equipments were not replaced.

Now mockery of justice. After trial which lasted for more than two decades, the jugdgement was delivered to the utter disappointment to victims and their relatives. The then Chairman and seven others convicted for two years' jail term.

MNCs,(what I call MNKs,multinational killers) the complete source of international corruption, the political class, complete guide to corruption and go-betweens,the bureaucrats are responsible for what went on in the Gulf or Bhopal.
