2009: Glenn Beck calls President Obama a 'racist'

In this article, the use of projection, defined as attributing one's own thoughts, feelings or personal characteristics onto a person, group or object, has been identified as the motivation for individuals such as Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Pat Buchanan and some members of the Republican Party as they express the belief that White culture, in general, and White males, specifically, have been relegated to the bottom rung of American society, a case the author believes can be easily disproven.

Projecting Caucasians as being somehow threatened by other races is the stance of a well-known hate group and the historic excuse for much abuse toward non-white Americans.  In fact, the idea of standing together for the sake of a people's own security against dangerous "others" was Hitler's message to Germany.  Hate groups and countries that malign and do actual harm to people supposedly for the sake of security against some perceived enemy in the absence of any real threat are interesting.

I published an excerpt from an article dealing with the recent case of a man being sodomized by a police officer's taser, and it wound up that Care2 members and I discussed issues of racism a good deal.  Although the Taser victim was white, I correlated what happened to the taser victim to what happened to Prof. Gates.  There was lively debate. http://www.care2.com/news/member/513396753/1204505

I also wrote an article entitled - President Obama's Criticism - Comments After Professor Gate's Arrest --- http://www.care2.com/c2c/share/detail/1207931

Some people actually accused President Obama of being a racist, despite the fact that his immediate family members are Caucasians.  I believe the critics may hurl such groundless criticism to influence the president to ignore any issues that pertain to African Americans more than other racial groups because the critics may be racists.  This is the first president to my knowledge that  so many people seek to censor, and some actually used the phrase "his place."

I put these links for you here, Karen, since you and I noticed they did not transmit on the email I sent you.
