Right-Wing Tyrants and American Values

There are many right-wing politicians who are claiming that America's values are under siege.

The correct response is, that depends on what you mean by American values.

If you see it an American value to pollute without sight for the future and for what it does to the rest of the world, then that "value" should be under siege. Likewise if you see it an American value to molest your children and beat your wife, that value should be under siege as well. As for the values that actually made America great - innovation, ingenuity, risk-taking and boldly forging forth into the unknown - these values are not only not under siege, but are being enthusiastically affirmed. So the people who claim that American values are under siege are obviously lying.

Who are these people? Well let me first tell you who they are not.

They are not the "American taxpayer." America gathers majority of its taxes from Democratic-voting states, with California leading the way.

They are not the "American patriots." No American patriot would wear an enemy Confederate flag on his truck; believe 9-11 to have been punishment for America; or accept an unelected Bush regime put into place through fraud and corruption and have that regime put America $6 trillion in debt and into the worst economic crisis since Great Depression.

They are not "defenders of American freedom." They do not tolerate freedom in any meaningful form and demand that everyone be the same person, believe the same things, and live the same way. Many of them want to kill or imprison anyone who doesn't. Instead they seek to impose upon America a totalitarian interpretation of Christianity that is not only intolerant of people's freedom not to practice it, but also seeks to destroy all knowledge and advancement that does not validate its apocalyptic worldview.

They are not "fiscal conservatives" or "wise stewarts of taxpayer money." The vast government debt is a creation of their own right-wing Reagan and Bush administrations. The only president in recent memory who actually was a fiscal conservative was Bill Clinton.

They are not believers in "small government." The government was much bigger under Bush than it was under Clinton, with government budget being $1.8 trillion at the end of the Clinton administration and $2.9 trillion at the end of that of Bush. Since these people want to use American government to impose their ways on American people, what they have to offer is neither small government nor freedom from government but an invasive, totalitarian government that wants to control American people's lives and does not allow them to practice any other way than theirs.

They are not "defenders of free enterprise" or practicioners of "economic freedom." Most of them work for, or live in areas whose economy is based upon, government-subsidized oil industry, government-subsidized agriculture, the trucking industry that uses government-built, government-maintained road system for its work, or the military that is a branch of the government.

They are not "prosperity" or "progress." Prosperity and progress at this time in history means implementing high-intelligence, high-technology, high-job-creation renewable clean energy solutions that will allow people to have everything they have now and much more while vastly reducing the damage to the planet. These people instead want to force reliance on inefficient, outdated, toxic technologies while sabotaging real technological and economic progress.

They are not "what made America great." America's achievements are owed to its science - located in liberal Massachussetts and California; to its technology - based in liberal California, Michigan and Washington State;  to its entertainment industry - based in liberal Hollywood; to its business - based in liberal New York; and to its military technology - developed under the liberal Franklin Roosevelt administration.

They are not "American culture." America has many cultures, and they constantly change. The best of these cultures are nowhere near where such people operate, and are constantly under attack from them.

They are not practicioners of "family values." Most of them want the world to end before their children have reached maturity and have supported administrations that busted the budget. They hide behind "family values," while obviously caring nothing about their children, in order to justify and perpetuate wife-beating and child molestation.

They are not "honest hard-working Americans." Honesty is very far from these people, as is known to anyone who traced their political activities or anyone in their communities who tried to get away from sexual abuse and family violence. As for hard work, it is not them but mainly liberal scientists, computer professionals, journalists, doctors, teachers, and technological entrepreneurs that work the longest hours and do the most meaningful work.

They are not "real Americans." Many of them are loyal to Confederate values, and most of them are against the European Enlightenment philosophy on which American Constitution is actually based, along with science and liberal democracy that is behind all of America's achievements.

They are not "peaceful Americans." Not only are they extremely brutal in their own personal dealings, but they also constantly agitate for war.

They are not practicioners of honor or integrity. They are aggressively in denial of scientific fact, spread paranoid fictions like "New World Order" conspiracy theories, ridiculously compare Obama to Hitler or claim his government to be Communist, and ridiculously blame the Democrats for the debt that was accumulated as a result of Reagan policies and liberal influence or "humanity" for the planetary destruction that is the direct result of conservative policies and conservative-fanned denial of scientific fact. In 2008 election they told voters that Obama was a Muslim terrorist; in 2000 election they used lies about McCain to win the Republican primary and then used lies, fraud and corruption to impose on America an unelected regime during the general election. They lie without consequence and practice extreme dishonesty and corruption both in their politics and in their dealings in the communities of which they are a part.

Who are these people then? They are tyrants who want to claim that they are America and that the rest of America isn't and use that claim to oppress the rest of America. They are conmen who appropriate credit for work done by the very kind of people that they want to slaughter and use this work to claim that God or America has accomplished it; for which entities they then appropriate the right to speak, and which claim they then use to bludgeon others into compliance. They are the most dishonest interests in the United States, and their intent is nothing less than imposing real totalitarianism upon United States.

And it is time that more American voters know these people for who and what they are.

Astute. Infallibly astute. Many people forget that the Enlightenment specifically Locke influenced the founding documents much more than any religious principle. And the Enlightenment was a result of religious oppression. Well not so much oppression as use of it as a tool of manipulation and control of the masses.

Great article and excellent comment.

American patriotism has been hijacked and abused by those that have done the greatest harm to the American people, and the whole world suffers when that happens. Excellent insight.

Looks like the dindbats in Australia think they know more about America than the Americans do.Horribly nice of them to tell us how to think and act...........horribly.  Have no fear, nicey-nice, 'liberal' thinkers, the revolution cometh. Do remember, the patriots have the guns and ammo.

You're wrong in about 75% of your article.  You obviously don't know many Republicans, who don't agree with most of what you just said.  I, as a secular independent, could write a more accurate story of Left-wing insanity:  the false religion of global-warming, allowing illegal Mexican criminals to run rampant in America, the destroying of the constitution through gun control and federal power, the state being involved in religious matters such as gay marriage, but I'm not a Republican. . .  I hate both parties equally.  I just want to point out that you're wrong in most of your article, and should have some links to prove yourself, if you think you're correct.

The Constitution was all about federal power. It replaced the Articles of Confederation which had nowhere near the allotment of power therein endowed. That was the whole point of the change.

How arrogant? Mexican criminals. By what grace and mercy were you born here? Or any of us for that matter? Better them than you. I would rather people break laws to overcome abstract barriers than be fleeing.

Gay marriage is not a religious matter. Marriage is formally recognized by the state. It is a license issued by the government. It is an issue religious individuals should stay out of. No one's beliefs should infringe upon civil liberties.

"The false religion of global warming" What are you talking about? Global warming is common knowledge. While change to the environment is natural and cyclical, the sporadic acceleration by humanity is not. Global warming is a misnomer. It would be better called global extrema.

You are rather erroneous in many of your assertions and proclamations. That seems to be the case with most individuals who which to claim thusly.

I will answer your questions & comments.  With regards to the constitution, I'm talking about now not hundreds of years ago.  On Mexican illegals, my parents came to America legally, and very soon after became common Americans.  My father was a chemist, and now contributed to America by being an engineer.  My mother's family were successful in business and became even more successful after arriving in America.  All of it was legal, and my family now contributes and helps to improve America.  Illegal Mexicans are ideal for certain jobs why?  BECAUSE they are illegals and treated un-fairly, nearly slave-labor, so if you support allowing the illegals to work here, you are supporting quasi-slave-labor.  If they became legal over-night, they wouldn't be needed anymore, because then they'd be paid a fair wage, and I myself would pick strawberries for minimum wage and benefits, but they don't even get minimum wage and benefits.  Two people, gay or straight, can be a couple, live together, and do whatever they want without religion being involved.  Marriage is religious in nature.  Marriage means nothing except symbolism to someone non-religious, but it is symbolism of religion.  There should be NO Legal Marriage at all, gay or straight.  Each church should marry who they want.  "Legal Marriage" is an illusion of freedom, because it violates the separation of church & state, where each is in each other's business.  Who argues over gay "legal" marriage?  I personally would never get legally married.  I would go to my church and get married.  Why would I care about being legally married.  I'd get married for religious reasons.  Legal marriage would mean nothing to me.  As for Man-Made Global Warming, it's a sham, a scam, and a hoax if there ever was one, and it's very easy to go to a LIBRARY and study climate change, because there are glaciers millions of years old, which have a record of the changing temperatures of the past several million years, and it's clear to see that there is nothing significant about the change of temperature today, because it's been much warmer before and warmed much faster before, and you can't blame humans for a warming that happened before we existed, so Man-Made Global Warming is false, plain & simple.  By the way, I am VERY open-minded, and wish for you or anyone to have better information than myself, where I will thereby change my mind.  I myself thought the globe was warming, until I researched professionally myself and found it to be based on false info.  Please, tell me when I'm wrong but prove it.

1. Global warming is not a religion, it is a fact. If not for people who believe what you believe, this problem would have been solved cheaply and easily when it was first found out. But now because of people who believe what you believe, the solutions are that much more difficult, and much irreversible damage has already been done.

2. Most Mexican immigrants are there because they are willing to do jobs that American citizens would not do. They are not criminals, and they are essential to American economy.

3. The Second Amendment states, "a well-regulated militia necessary for the defense of the free state." No American gun owners except the military begin to fit that criterion, and while I'm not against people owning guns, it is time that more people know this.

4. Marriage in America is not a religious contract but a common-law contract. Otherwise people who are not Christians would not be allowed to marry.

5. Federal government's reach was certainly greater under Reagan and Bush than it was under Clinton. Republicans have proven very happy to have an overly powerful government, for as long as the government is theirs.

"As for Man-Made Global Warming, it's a sham, a scam, and a hoax if there ever was one"

And here you've just shown that there is no reason to listen to anything you have to say.

Go to a library and study climate change.  If you do, you'll realize I'm correct.  If you don't, you're not open-minded, and you support a cause based on a lie without knowing it.  Eventually the truth will become public, because it IS public.  It's at your local library.

philo 101(not verified).Who conferred rights on Churches to conduct marriages. Can you qoute any passage from Bible in support of your assertion. If you can, please do it to enlighten me.If not, then you simply say:this is my(your) opinion.Registeration of marriage with appropiate authority is mandatory in some countries, even if it takes place in a churh. How does it voilate seperation of church and state?I have miserably failed to understand it.

I guess you want to say that global warming is a divine act and to blame humans is making a mockery of Providence. So Kyoto protocol and Copenhagen protocol were conspiracies against divinity.Scientist are not paid to go to libraries and thus all reaserch conducted by them is a hoax, sham, nonsense and what not.

What is marriage?  What does marriage mean to a non religious person, as opposed to a religious person?  Like I said, which I don't think you or anyone read everything I wrote, I personally don't care to get legally married, because it has no real meaning at all.  It is symbolic to a non-religious person, but it's divine to a religious person.  It doesn't matter what religion it is.  As for global warming, it's simply not happening.  Japanese scientists have claimed that American scientists are either corrupt or idiotic in their science trying to prove global warming.  They compared it to "ancient astrology".  Thousands of PhDs around the world have signed petitions claiming there is no global warming, yet have been ignored by the media.  Do some real research, at the library yourself, and the truth is there, clear, plain and simple.  By the way I'm not Republican or Democrat because they're both wrong, and years ago I believed in man-made global-warming until I researched professionally.

@Phi lol 101 Do you have some links to prove that Ishambat is absolutely wrong? Why don't you let us know the accurate story of left-wing insanity, rather than letting us know 'yours'.

I've replied to a comment, but the problem with "links" as you say, to prove something, would never work.  I could, for example, write:  globalwarminghoax.com  or iceagenow.com  but then you could say the websites are biased.  This is why the internet is not the best place for information, because another website will have the opposite opinion.

"The question is:can a social revolution take place before a philosphical revolution has disrupted the authority of traditional values?.....When the leaders of the nation are wedded to hoary traditions, who will make iconoclastic laws?-M.N.Roy,a great intellectual and revolutionary. He wrote in Indian context, but same can be said about religious right in US.

Pat Robertson, head of Christian Coalition, resigned just after 9/11.The post was kept vacant.Bush Jr.,was to head the club of 300,000 strong damned conservatives. The conservatives who are devil's operatives but quote from Bible. There was jubiliation among 'born again Christians' when Pat was replaced by equally poisonous head, without any public annoucement. The man of God was in the White House to accomplish divine scheme of things.Bush knew that first term he stole, the second he owed to right wing over-religious Christians, after all,as one conservative Christian put it:George Bush is not typical politician who understands us,he is one of us.

Biblical criticism in the seminaries, teaching human evolution in public schools, perceived threat of communism and after demise of Soviet Union,of Muslims and Islam are few factors which contributed handsomely to the rise of Chritian right-a tyranny we are confronting.

The reconstructionists, the dominionists gradually hijacked Republican party to implement their agenda of a theocratic USA,trampling upon all secular and democratic institutions.

Republicans are out of power, but that shouldn't make us complacent. They are working overtime to implement their nefarious agenda.Either we have to stop them or welcome fascism at our doors. That is what American people have to decide.
