Now he's 'on the road' - the road to Gaza - leading the biggest convey to the Middle East since the Eighth Army in the Second World War.

This convoy aims to bring nothing but good. Rather than military might it's taking aid to Gaza and highlighting the plight of ordinary people in Gaza caught up in the violence.

George is at the head in a Mercedes 4x4 but returns home 3 days a week to present his shock jock talk radio show and he also gets to sleep in a Winnebago when on the road rather than in a tent as the rest of the aid workers.

Gorgeous George just cannot help himself. Describing the huge convoy he is leading to Gaza, packed with food, clothes and medical supplies, he begins with a proud recital of the statistics: "One hundred vehicles. A mile long. Aid worth a million pounds." If he smiles like a cat that's got the cream, who can argue? The help is needed. The vehicles – trucks, cars, ambulances, fire engines, even a boat for the fishermen – that left London yesterday at the start of a three-week overland journey have been donated and are crewed by volunteers, in a spontaneous gesture he claims to have inspired but not to control. The man is a charlatan! I wonder whose benefit he is doing it for really? And whether it's that necessary that he wants to give it such publicity!

"Shock jock" what sort of backwards draconian racist BS is that to come out with in 2009!? Firstly, whats the fact he is Scottish got to do with it? And where in Gods name do you get off with using the word "Jock", so I take it when you refer to Pakistani's you say "Paki" or when you talk about Black people you say "Nigger", this is just a fine example of English racist attitudes and the sooner we are a free country, free from such idiotic journalism and draconian backwards veiws!
