Royal Family Attends Traditional Christmas Church Service
Members of the British Royal Family have attended a traditional Christmas Church service.
The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, along with Princes William and Harry left the fireside warmth of the estate at Sandringham and travelled to the nearby church.
Wearing a matching red ensemble the Queen was driven to St Mary Magdalene Church accompanied by Sophie, the Countess of Wessex.Other members of the Royal Family walked the short distance amid the picturesque snow-covered ground.
At 3:00pm UK Time, there will be a traditional Queen´s Christmas Message.

It is wonderful to see traditions continue....traditions no matter how trivial to some are important to others....more can take the lesson of attending religious services, and becoming more tolerant of others....ty for the story

these arcane traditions, at great cost to the British taxpayer have no place in a modern Britain. After getting back from church it will be down to the fields to kill off a few thousand grouse with 12-bore shot guns. They say you can't miss with a 12-bore but the bird ends up with more lead than meat. Oh! but they don't actually eat them they just do it for sport!

Good to see that the other half are still doing okay in these difficult times.....mind you, for an immigrant family they haven't done too bad for themselves - have they?
And they do so like to uphold traditions, you know....sod you Jack - I'm all right!
