Rupert Murdoch, To Sky News | Beck Was Right |Obama is a Racist
Rupert Murdoch has revealed to Sky News that he agrees with talk show host Glenn Beck, who has called President Obama a "racist."
Glenn Beck called President Obama a "racist" during a Fox News Broadcast and that Obama had a "deep seated hatred of the white people or the white culture."
The racism charges stem from the Henry Lois Gates Jr. incident. The popular Harvard professor was mistaken for an intruder and arrested at his home, led away in handcuffs by a a white police officer. The incident became a national story with President Obama weighing in.
In an interview with Sky News Murdoch says Obama "did make a very racist comment about blacks and whites and so on...if you actually assess what he [Glenn Beck] was talking about, he was right."
That Murdoch would come to the defense of Beck's inflammatory statements is not that surprising, after all, Murdoch must appreciate the ratings for Beck's show. Soon after the "Obama Racist" comments ratings for Glenn Becks Show went through the roof.
The exchange about Obama and Glenn Beck is about 16 minutes or so into the Sky News interview.

With all respect, you either have to call your piece "Opinion" or you have to eliminate that statement from the article.
You have no proof for your conjecture, only speculation based on the assumption, not proven in the article that both Beck and Murdoch are wrong, very obviously wrong, and that Murdoch is not even mistaken to agree, but in agreement just because of the effect of money and profit, of which you do not give a shred of evidence.

Roy C: As much as I disdain Glenn Beck, I must applaud your remarks: All too often, editorializing masquearades as objective reportage. It's vital that any claim be substantiated. Speculation is of little value in serious public discourse.
