Rush Limbaugh thinks Obama's swift response to Haiti is aimed to gain credibility to the black community in the US. Rush Limbaugh apparently thinks Obama was too soon to respond to the Haiti's earthquake that killed thousands of people.

Rush Limbaugh's Haiti comment on Ed Schultz's Psycho talk segment:

Rush Limbaugh on Haiti:

"This will play right into Obama's hands. He's humanitarian, compassionate.  They'll use this to burnish their, shall we say, "credibility" with the black community -- in the both light-skinned and dark-skinned black community in this country.  It's made-to-order for them.  That's why he couldn't wait to get out there, could not wait to get out there."

"Now, I want you to remember, it took him three days to respond to the Christmas Day Fruit of Kaboom Bomber, three days.  And when he came out after those three days, he was clearly irritated that he had to do it.  He didn't want to do it.  He comes out here in less than 24 hours to speak about Haiti."

Has Rush Limbaugh taken political attack to a new low? You be the judge. Here is the full transcript from Rush Limbaugh's official website: Obama Leaps into Action on Haiti

Meanwhile, Pat Robertson made an equally interesting observation on Haiti's unfortunate earthquake disaster.

I would give a half  year's paychecks to have both Pat Robertson and Rush Limbaugh dropped off in the middle of Port-Au-Prince for three days with nothing but the designer shirts on their backs.  They'd have to scramble for shelter, water and food (hear that Rush...no FOOD) like everyone else.  After the third day, they'd have to work like everyone else to get off of the island.  Assuming they'd make it back to the states in one piece to take their places on-air, I'd be the first one tuned in to hear what they'd have to say about the experience. In the words of Dean Wormer... "Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life."  Get a clue, Lush.

I don't buy the comparison.  Al Qaeda wants to show how they can always get a response whether they succeed or not.  So every time they try to test our defenses against terrorism, we have the President popping up on the TV, especially if the act failed.  Bush made it clear that he wasn't going to react that way to everything Al Qaeda tried to do publicly.  He felt it made him look like they could manipulate the President at any time they felt like it.  On the other hand, a devastating earthquake with thousands of dead or dying people that has world-wide impact and attention on getting help immediately to a tragedy that actually occurred needs to be addressed as quick as possible.  But you can't stop a moron from comparing the two.

The lunacy of the thought processes of those who are attempting to compare President Obama's response time regarding the failed Christmas Day attack and his response time to the earthquake disaster that has occurred in Haiti can be easily deduced by noting :

- during the earliest reporting on conditions in Haiti, it was believed that tens of thousands had been killed or injured. We now know relief agencies are predicting as many as one third of Haiti's population, 3 million Haitians, have been or will be impacted by this tragedy.

- during the earliest reporting regarding the failed Christmas Day attack, the alleged bomber suffered singed testicles. As of today, his injuries remain the only minor injuries from the failed attack.

Let's not forget that the Christmas day bombing happened on Christmas.  At some point we have to let a family be a family, regardless of them being the first family.  That being said, these hate mongers will politicize anything.  You're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't.  Nobody died in the failed Christmas day bombing attempt and we don't know how many have died in Haiti.  Maybe our President wanted to get the facts and learn everything he could before he spoke out about the failed attempt.  Let's not forget that it took George W. Bush 6 days to respond to the shoe bomber, where was the outrage over that?

I rarely agreed with Bush but I did regarding his decision not to immediately respond to everything that terrorists do or say. It clearly shows that they (i.e., terrorists) do not control the White House. That is why Bush waited 6 days before responding to the shoe bomber. That is why Obama waited before responding to the underpants bomber. Rush Limbaugh knows that. So why is this not clear to his ditto heads? Because they're pin heads.

he needs to take his meds. There are 45,000 Americans in Haiti, on that account alone, Obama needs fast action.

These guys are giving Christianity a bad name. I am Christian and I thank God I know whom I worship. I worship a God that cares for every one on earth, regardless of what ethnicity you are.Rush for me is just not worth replying to, the disappointment is Pat Robertson. The Bible says no man knows the time or the season. Ones death can happen at anytime. Among the dead in Haiti are Pastors, Priests etc. In truth he needs to cover his face in shame, in my book their is very little difference between him and the fanatic Al Qaeda members.

Rush is a horses ass but loves the shock value of his drug induced statement/s getshim more free publicity.  Its time we ignore this a-hole.  Another heart attack of a much greater magnitude is really needed to shut this drug head up.

Oh no, Obama is a humanitarian and is compassionate!  The worst that Mr. Limbaugh can say about the president is what most people would consider high praise.  He almost implies that President Obama caused the earthquake for his political benefit. I have seen conservative fight for segregation and the rights of states to deny certain citizens their rights, but for Limbaugh to say what he did is a new low.

People should boycott Rush and Pat shows. This is 2010 and this kind of hatred should not be tolerated!

He is not telling people not to donate to Haiti relief efforts, just the government's website for donations. I wouldn't donate to any government relief programs because too much of the money would go to bureaucrats and what the government thinks is worth funding for political reasons. I'd rather Catholic Relief Services, Salvation Army, Doctors Without Borders and Red Cross get the money directly from me.

Obviously, nothing about the Haiti tragedy could evoke sympathy from Limbaugh.  Not even a picture of the devastation and lost lives have tugged at Limbaugh's heartstrings...and apparently the dittoheads have followed suit. Sadly, it seems that the only thing that gets Rush worked up is when the poor bank CEO's have their bonuses threatened. That is when he stands up for what's right...THAT'S when you'll hear the passion in his voice. Haiti...not so much.

God chose Mr Obama as president of U.S.A for a reason that's why he did what he had to do; that is to help the Haitians. The racists should go to hell. Long live Mr Obama, may you live to help more helpless people.God bless you.God bless the survivors of Haiti. God bless everyone that has offered something in order to help the Haitians.I wish i could do something to help.
