Previously, Rush Limbaugh claimed that Obama was not an African American, but is an Arab-American. In his latest race-baiting, Rush thinks Obama is too uppity because he's black.

In fact, Obama is of Arabic, not African descent. Not the same thing. The Arabs sold the Africans into slavery.

Obama does have something like a chip on his shoulder. That is why the entire Cambridge police dept disagrees with him including the black cop who was there.

No, but it is a common fallacy.. Obama's father family was Luo. One of the three largest ethnic groups in Kenya. Their range does spread to Sudan, but not since 3,000BC (roughly) would they be termed a Nilo-Arabic people.

Roy ". That is why the entire Cambridge police dept disagrees with him including the black cop who was there."

No, the entire Cambridge Police Department has not issued statements from every single police officer in that department.

I personally liked something I heard Rush say  "Obama is angry with America".  You betcha! YOU BETCHA!  Perhaps why he also does not give a damn about health care for the elderly and the unborn.  Get rid of as many as possible.  The president opines that he will replace the  most "expensive care" with the "best care" by empowering government officials who have never  met you to substitute their judgment for that of your doctor, who has examined you thoroughly .The president assures us that he will cut health-care spending. . .by adding $1 trillion to health-care spending.

He says that "health-care decisions will not be made by government". . .while he sets up a new Federal Health Board to tell doctors what treatments they can offer and to whom and under what circumstances.

Obama told the media, "I will free doctors to make good health-care decisions". . .by telling the physicians what to do.

When the president says he guarantees the "same coverage" to people who like their current health-insurance policies, he means that their current HMOs, insurers and doctors will be the ones to implement the protocols and instructions the government hands down to them -- not that we'll have our current freedom of decision-making.

When he blandly assures us that we will "stop paying for things that don't make us healthier," he

really means that his Federal Health Board will overrule your doctor and stop him from using

his own best judgment in your treatment.

A man who thinks like giving pain pills to the elderly does not realize they have a soul.  What

we can do and what we cannot do does not mean we are not valuable...that just our heart

pumping can be a vibration of love...a test...to see if others can learn compassion, love, sacrifice

etc.  Obama will have some very bad Karma for all the lives he wants to eliminate and so will

all of us who allow him to get away with "writing off" the value of any kind of life....

also taking away the right to develop one's own independence by working and not expecting

handouts is another form of "killing a soul".

QueensHart : He says that "health-care decisions will not be made by government". . .while he sets up a new Federal Health Board to tell doctors what treatments they can offer and to whom and under what circumstances.

That is an absolute lie. Shame on you, Queensheart.  You're just parroting republicans who oppose healthcare for the 40 million uninsured.

That is an absolute lie, Queensheart. You have no back up to prove that, you're simply parrating the GOP line against health care for all Americans.

As far as "handouts," are you suggesting poor people and poor children should not have access to healthcare?

Queenshart : Perhaps why he also does not give a damn about health care for the elderly and the unborn.

Funny, the Republicans want to slash and end medicare, Obama has fought for it.  He also supports prenatal healthcare for pregnant women of all incomes. Bush and the Republicans have fought that for 8 years and are fighting it now.

You're lying so badly, Queenshart, please work on that.

I MUST SAY YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON I HAVE EVER HAD TO

ACTUALLY CALL ME A LIAR...not that I am without faults .  :  )  I suppose once

before I became a truly conscious woman and learned all about addictions and mental

illness and studied to become a psychologist I was a "liar" to my unfolding self.  I was

a people pleaser and a great caretaker...now I am a truth seeker sir.  This man is

dangerous for America and I will parrot whoever I please for this is still a public

forum that I can post my beliefs and others.

The smarter people are getting  it that OBAMA IS A LIAR.

The blue dogs for one.

People like me who do not believe in the right wingers or left wingers.

People who do  not need a Daddy or King to save them won't ever get it.

Funny, you cant prove Obama is cutting healthcare for elderly or prenatal care.

Prove to us howObama is dangerous for America, in fact, prove anything you've claimed.

Please, spare us your personal life and stick to the facts.

I despise Obama's politics, and Gates sounds like a black racist jerk. However that doesn't explain away the epidemic police-state conditions in America created by the drive towards "leftist" fascism. It is pathetically stupid that the "right" inevitably sees the need to automatically defend any jerk cop under ANY AND ALL circumstances. FAR too many cops are arrogant control-freak jerks themselves.

Crowely is too slick by half. He is self-evidently smooth and well-schooled in public relations. His language is PR coded and faux-benign, and he is obviously used to being tape recorded and cross-examined by lawyers in court. In contrast Gates isn't slick and smooth, but loud-mouthed and crude. Gates wasn't hip to the idea he was being tape recorded or he wouldn't have said all the stupid impolitic stuff he said.

For all you pro-police-state cop defenders out there, here's a clue: There IS such a thing as 4th Amendment probable cause requirements, and, as pointed out by Alan Dershowitz, cops are taught by prosecutors how to lie successfully about threshhold probable cause to help their cases. Furthermore, a citizen is under NO obligation to obey a jurisdictionless legal-nullity court (or police) order. See Ex Parte Fisk, 113 US 713, Thrap v People, 558 P2d 576. The erroneous notion that many pro-police-staters continually imply — that simply arguing or vigorously verbally disagreeing with an arrogant pushy jerk of a police officer per se automatically constitutes "resisting a police officer" "interfering with a police office" or "disorderly conduct" — is fascist control-freak insanity on its face - and DEADLY DANGEROUS.

There was no racism here, nor was there any crime or any sort. In fact there was no probable cause from the moment Gates identified himself. Obviously the self-evidently frivolous charges against Gates were dropped because obtaining a conviction would be impossible in the absence of some LEGITIMATE statutory offense (there was none). The cop/s should have laughed it off and walked away right then, but that's not what enough cops do. Too many cops "take control" no matter what. Too many cops will empty their guns into the center of your body mass. Too many cops fire 50-100 bullets into a guy because they SAY they thought his wallet was a gun. Too many cops will plant "throw-down guns".

In this particular instance, two pushy, arrogant, control-freak jerks encountered each other, one was a cop and the other was a Hahvard professor (woo woo!). That's all that happened, except that now both are trying to turn a BORING non-event into a public relations contest. So explain to me how the situation is "news" and worthy of so much fascist pro-police-state commentary? I'm a LOT more frightened by the Crowleys of the world than the Gateses. The Crowleys can kill you and slickly get away with it. The Gateses can only huff and puff their arrogance. I very much resent having to admit it, but  I don't think our Kenyan "prez" is all that far off base on this one.

The Limbaughs and Hannitys of the world are useless on this type of issue. That's because they're not about actually educating their audiences in law, politics, or economics. (If they were, they'd openly and vigorously push for the abolition of the FED/IRS.) They're about demonizing richly-deserving "libs" and keeping their ratings up so they can afford their groovy toys.

AbleGoodman " epidemic police-state conditions in America created by the drive towards "leftist" fascism."

That's laughable.

It was Bush and republicans that pushed the Patriot Act that violated the 4th amendment (much of it was struck down thanks to lawsuits by the ACLU & EFF) , Bush and the Republicans who pushed warantless wiretapping via the NSA, which Condi Rice was head of.

BTW, you missed the entire racist theory by Rush Limbaugh, which was, Obama has a chip on his shoulder because he is black.

I think our Kenyan Prez knew exactly what he was doing!  The question was probably

planted.  He desperately needed gathering something for his ratings that are dropping due

to his ridiculous Health Change he wants to pass.  Boy he is so good when it comes to

changing things.

I agree with much of what you say Mr. Goodman.  Both sides demonize each other but

now it has become so polarized that we  are seeing and will see more Blue Dogs thank the

Lord!

I still say the Police do have horrible jobs and have to deal with the very ill and criminal people

in our country.  There are many who are contaminated ? Yes.

O is going to use this ...he is very slick!

Queensheart: I think our Kenyan Prez knew exactly what he was doing!

Kenyan prez?  Prove Obama is from Kenya.  The State of Hawaii, including Republican Governor Linda Lingle,  has verified that he was born in Honoluu, hawaii.

Queensheart:   He desperately needed gathering something for his ratings that are dropping due to his ridiculous Health Change he wants to pass.

FUNNY, he promised healthcare DURING HIS CAMPAIGN for a year and a half BEFORE he was elected.

We all KNOW ABOUT ALL HIS CAMPAIGN PROMISES!!!WE ALSO KNOW WHAT HE  DID NOT SUPPORT WHEN HE WAS AN ABSENTIA SENATOR.

This is a nice little red herring for him to gather some new attention OFF THE FIASCO

OF WHAT HE IS TRYING TO CRAM THRU BEFORE EVERYONE GETS TO READ

IT MUCH LESS DISCUSS IT CAMERAOBSCURA.  It is taking up news time instead of

the real truth being discussed about his horrible ideas.  He does not even know himself and

has unashamedly admitted to not knowing all in the bill.  The Blue Dogs already have seen

enough to stop the vote for now.

I want a public apology from you when the truth is published.  Just kidding!  :  )

Thanks for this news.  Does anyone know why the police officer arrested the Harvard professor once he knew the man was at his own home and was not a burgular?  I read a couple of reports, but that part was omitted.  I could not find the reason for the arrest.  What were the charges?  I only read that the professor got irate with the police.  Reminded me of this lady - the great grandma who refused to sign a traffic ticket in Texas:

http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2009/06/raw-video-cop-tasers-72-year-old-granny/

At least the Harvard professor was not tasered.  That's a plus for the officer.

It reminded me of a youth director who was driving and stopped at a red light.  An old friend noticed him and ran over to say hello.  They traded a few words and shook hands.  When the light changed, the teacher drove to his home.  He was immediately accosted by officers who believed they had just witnessed a drug buy.  The teacher allowed himself and his vehicle to be searched and did not mind knowing that police were working hard to keep his neighborhood drug-free.  The thing is that the police arrested him, anyway!  I think they said he was irate, like the Harvard professor and the great grandma.  He became "irate" when the officers still cited him for "cruising for drugs" or something, even though that was a lie and they knew it.  He wrote about it here:  http://www.ballerstatus.com/2009/07/14/rapperactivist-wise-intelligent-falsely-arrested-in-new-jersey/

I remember the young man who almost became the first African American unarmed man killed by police in 2009 - the son of a retired pro football player who had a promising sports career planned for himself.  Robbie Tolan lost that position of being the first one killed to Oscar Grant (who was shot in the back by B.A.R.T. officers), though, because the bullet did not kill him, but merely hospitalized him.  He and his cousin went to get snacks in the wee hours on New Year's morning, and police followed them back to their home and accused them of driving in a stolen vehicle.  It was a nice vehicle and a nice neighborhood, like the Harvard professor - too nice for black people, apparently.  I think he and his family got "irate" when the police were roughing them up in their front yard for having such a nice vehicle.  Here is Robbie's story.

I think he and his family became "irate" when the police officer shove his mom to the ground for coming outside to see what the problem was:
http://streetknowledge.wordpress.com/2009/01/09/baseball-players-son-shot-by-policeunarmed-and-in-his-driveway/

What is the exact charge for "irate" attitudes?  Lots of people are being tasered and arrested for that these days, and in poor and minority neighborhoods, they are sometimes killed for it.  Luckily, the elderly woman was white, and the Harvard professor, New Jersey teacher, and Texas ballplayer were obviously people of means.  But if they had been poor people of color or mentally challenged citizens, they might have had a different outcome over their "irate" attitudes.  They got off light.  They could have wound up like 73-year-old Bernard Monroe in Louisiana - http://my.nowpublic.com/world/73-year-old-black-man-shot-and-killed-police-homer-la

So President Obama was wrong - it most certainly was not "stupid" for the policeman to arrest the Harvard professor for being at home.  It seems to be standard police procedure.  Ask any of the folks listed herein, with the exception of Mr. Monroe.  He was at home, too, but he was no Harvard professor.  So he is dead.  They should all learn to do as my grandfather, an ex-slave, did all of his life.  He lived to be nearly 100, until the mid-40's.  He always looked at the ground when addressing certain people and said "yassa."  That's safer behavior and no one can accuse you of being "irate."

Limbaugh also believes the US has the "greatest health care system in the world."  Pure entertainment, he is!

The Young Turks have a good take on this Fox interview, here on YouTube.
