Rush Limbaugh Rushed to Hospital in Honolulu, Chest Pains
Update: Rush Limbaugh will stay in hospital overnight after being rushed to hospital earlier suffering from chest pains. He reportedly told paramedics he was taking medication for back pain, but was sitting up in a chair when the medics arrived.
His condition will be assessed tomorrow.
Previous reporting:
Rush Limbaugh has been rushed to hospital in Honolulu suffering from chest pains. The radio talk show host was staying at the Kahala Hotel, and a call for paramedics came from there at 2:41 pm local time.
Paramedics took him to Queen's Medical Center and he is considered to be in serious condition.
Rush Limbaugh has been vacationing in Hawaii over the holidays. He was seen golfing earlier this week.
Coincidentally, his visit comes at a time when two of the nation's most powerful Democrats, President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are also staying in Hawaii.
Rush Limbaugh's medical history includes receiving a cochlear implant in 2001 after he lost hearing due to an autoimmune inner ear disease. In 2003 he underwent treatment for an addiction to prescription painkillers.

Humanly sorry, but in the broad scheme, there are millions for which I am humanly sorry.

Although Rush gets a little out there some days, I hope he gets better, America needs him to continue showing its OK to stand up and speak your mind.

There is no one who loves America more than Rush. He cares about this great nation and we need him to continue his commitment to insuring that our country is one we remain proud of, a country that values freedom and one that our children can truly realize their personal and professional dreams. I hope he knows how many Americans look forward to hearing his voice on the radio next week...

Rush probably couldn't hear his heart . . . .

Oh, great, I can hear the foil-hatters and tea-baggers now: Michele poisoned him! Malia made the Secret Service assassinate him! Bo the Presidential Hound infected him with Portugese Water Dog Flu!Hmm, and he was transported by taxpayer-paid EMT's...probably getting cared for by SEIU unionized nurses, who he'll complain about because they are in a union.Yeah, I hope he recovers enough, don't want him martyred in Hawaii. But he should present his original birth certificate...just to make sure he isn;t, y'know...illegal...

I'm sure that there are many people more patriotic than Mr. Limbaugh. I don't wish him ill, but he has expressed nothing but disdain, or downright hatred, for anyone who doesn't agree with him. in other words, he's been hateful towards many millions of Americans. That's not behavior associated with "loving America." Now that he's (apparently) had a heart attack, he's providing a good example of what the combination of a high-fat diet and hostility will produce: a bad heart. Hawaii has, once again, done its healing magic. Mr. Limbaugh has been shown the errors of his ways and given a chance to make changes. He won't be able to heal his injured heart with anything but love, and that is something Mr. Limbaugh seems to know very little about. I hope he learns quickly.

Spoken Like a true Liberal if you listened Rush for a few days instead of theLiberal Media and tried finding out facts for your self ! You would find he is only a man expressing his views and his right to Freedom of speech ! But you Libs just hate the idea of freedom and people who can think for themselves , IDIOTS !

I wish rush a speedy recovery. I honestly feel that anyone who wishes him dead is pure evil. I am a moderate conservative. I am a christian who beleives that when anyone dies regardless of political orientation you should feel sorry for them no matter what. Wishing anyone in the political arena dead because of their opininons is morally wrong and does no one a favor at all.

I won't say anything nasty, though I could. Rush doesn't deserve anyone's sympathy. His history of drug abuse, smoking and other life style choices are self inflicted. My only hope is that he doesn't die in the hospital that Obama was born in.
Oh, I almost forgot: Remember how sympathetic Rush was to Michael J. Foxx, and Ted Kennedy? What goes around comes around.
