The NFL has thrown the penalty flag at a political advertisement featuring Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold in his campaign for re-election.

The Russ Feingold political commercial features football players in what could be called excessive touchdown celebrations, including the infamous 2005 faux mooning incident when Randy Moss moons opposing fans.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that the league contacted the Feingold campaign about removing the footage, which Feingold did not have the league's approval to use.

In the video we see Democrat Russ Feingold rail against special "corporate special interests and his opponent Ron Johnson." But the Russ Feingold campaign responded quickly to the NFL complaints and will likely edit out the footage featuring Randy Moss and the NFL.
