Ryan Jenkins: Motive for Murder?

Ryan Jenkins, the star of reality shows like I Love Money and Megan Wants a Millionaire, will be formally charged in connection with the death of his wife Jasmine Fiore.

The Orange County District Attorney is planning a Thursday afternoon press conference that will detail the charges and the warrant for the arrest of Ryan Jenkins.

Rumors continue to circulate that Ryan Jenkins has fled to his native Canada. Prior to the Ryan Jenkins-Jasmine Fiore murder case, Jenkins was spending his time on reality shows. He was a cast member of the VH1 show Megan Wants a Millionaire. He is also reportedly the winner of I Love Money 3.

Fiore's body was found Saturday morning stuffed in a suitcase which was thrown in a dumpster in Buena Park, CA.

It appears Jenkins has fled to Canada. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

We do not know if the charge is 1st or 2nd degree murder.

The D.A. is holding a news conference at 4 PM PT today. We'll be live streaming the whole thing.

UPDATE: Official murder complaint issued

"Count 1: On or about August 14, 2009, in violation of Section 187(a) of the Penal Code (MURDER), a FELONY, RYAN ALEXANDER JENKINS did unlawfully and with malice aforethought kill JASMINE FIORE, a human being."

BAIL RECOMMENDATION:
RYAN ALEXANDER JENKINS - $ 10,000,000.00

Pursuant to Penal Code Section 296.1, defendant, RYAN ALEXANDER
JENKINS, is required to provide DNA samples and thumb and palm
prints.

UPDATE: Police and family members speak on the news conference

Arrest warrant for Ryan Jenkins has been issued, said Tom Monson from the Buena Park Police Department. They have recovered Jenkins' black 2003 BMW X5 and his boat.

The authorities believe he had crossed the border on foot. They are now working with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to arrest him. While there is a very high possibility that he has escaped to Canada, no one is 100% sure at this point.

A US Marshall said they "will look every rock for him", and reminded those who help Jenkins will be charged for aiding and abetting a fugitive.

A close friend of Fiore, Robert Hasman, spoke in the news conference to those who help ryan escape. He said, "Ryan Jenkins is an animal" for what he did to Jasmine.

The official are preparing documents for an arrest warrant to be issued in Canada. 

It has been a traumatic experience for the family. The authority cannot comment on many of the questions because of the on-going investigation. However, lieutenant Holliday said Jasmine's teeth and fingers had been removed. They are now looking into the motive but cannot share that information at this point.

"Jasmine was a caring individual she is a beautiful person", and a lot of things online are not true, said Hasman.

The authority said they have reasons to believe that he is possibly armed with a handgun, and asked law enforcement officers to proceed with caution.
