Professor David Nutt has been sacked by the British Government after offering advice about the classification of narcotics that was not accepted by the Cabinet.

A previous advisor, whose advice regarding WMD was not well received, Dr. David Kelly, was perhaps less fortunate.

Professor Nutt might be well advised to avoid taking walks alone in any woodland this weekend.

The problem is a different one and basically Nutt was not involved in the lies about WMD's its a whole different ball game. Nutt has whats thought as being a nutty idea to down classify drugs on the illegal list.

You miss the point of the piece; it is about how this UK government deals with expert opinion and advice that it does not find convenient.

Interestingly, since the original piece, other advisors have resigned from that Government Advisory Committee in support of Prof. Nutt.
