I wanted to share another picture and a little story about the sweetest little girl that lives across the street from me, Sade Carter. Everyday she stands outside after the school bus drops her off until someone picks her up. So I guess she stands out there for about 45 minutes to an hour Monday through Friday, rain or shine.

I don't know why she's not allowed to go in the house alone at least until she gets picked up. Standing outside anything could happen to her. Not to mention the weather. She never speaks of her mother just her sister. I don't know who she lives with. A few months ago the police and rescue squad were at her house. I started thinking maybe her mother died. There used to be two women there 2 black ladies and two children. Now I only see Sade and one women I think the women is her sister. Every now and then another women comes over like she's checking on them. Sade is the sweetest and so polite, most children today are so rude.

Sade, what a perfect name for this beautiful child. Yesterday it had to about 29 degrees in the afternoon when she came home from school with wind chill maybe colder.  This child had on nothing but a hoodie. She came knocking on my door frozen, she likes to look at the dogs but not touch she's scared of them. We're working on that. She left I wasn't thinking, I had a death in the family so I didn't even see really what she was wearing until she came back the second time.  She knocked and politely asked me it I had any gloves she could use. OMG I felt so stupid, I brought her in ther house got her gloves and a scarf, she had a coat sitting in the driveway.

The pair of gloves were three times too big a pair of ski gloves I had but they were warm and my scarf I wrapped around her neck and tucked it for her. She thanked me so nicely. Walked out the door got half way across the street and turned around and ran back she through her arms around me with the biggest hug, that made me cry.  I wanted to pick her up and tell her it was going to be ok. She asked me did she have to give the gloves and scarf back I told her no.

Today when she home from school she came over and brought me a gift she had made. I also had given another pair fo gloves these fit her. The gift is a picture with her Bio I've enclosed pictures. This child is a gift from God. I've been to the doctor today and with the death I wasn't having a great day. Sade girl made my day again. Children are a gift so when Sade said I have a gift for you, she probably made that for her mother. Now her mother's gone I got the best gift in the world I will cherish it always.

I watched Sade walk home from the bus stop last Friday, February 13th. When she got to me she gave me a big hug. We started talking as we were walking to her house, she told me she had to move.  She said her grandmother was in Florida and she is going to have to go live with her. I asked her why she was moving, she told me it was because she didn't have any food where she was.  After there she was going to go with with her Aunt in Florida.

I heart just dropped! I wanted to take her home with me make everything right for her. I couldn't, she wasn't my child and she had family waiting for her. Sade left Saturday for Georgia, it's only been four days but I sure do miss my little friend.  I gave her my email address. I told her too none of this was her fault and if she every needed me just email.me.

The saddest thing of all this fulls my eyes and breaks my heart is I don't really know whats happened to Sade Carter or if I'll ever hear from her again.
