We were thinking about heading to Mexico, in February — weather-wise, it’s a great time to be there, plus it happens to be when a relative has a time share available for us to use. But we just returned from Costa Rica and don’t feel we can afford another splash-out for international flights so soon.

But American Airlines is trying to convince us otherwise, it seems….

you can fetch a midweek flight to Los Cabos (SJD) from LAX for $92 one-way, pre-tax, per person. After taxes and fees, that price is bumped up to $280 round-trip per person, but that’s still better than other airlines are offering for that time period.
