San Ysidro High School in San Diego evacuated due to bomb threat

San Ysidro High School in San Diego was evacuated this afternoon due to a bomb threat on campus at 3:20pm.
Students and staff were led away to a nearby sports field while officers swept the school for hazardous objects or substances.
According to San Diego Fire-Rescue Department Maurice Luque, there were 10 overpressure devices found on campus.
Six exploded on their own and the remaining were detonated in a controlled detonation.
The devices were considered very dangerous and lethal.
It is not known who put them in the school at this time.

the school wasnt even evacuated it was just under lockdown mode for about 20 minutes.
and they were just cherrybombs! stop exaggerating!

It was the best senior prank in the syhs history. whoever did it i give him/her props.
the media is always trying to make things more exiting and making them sound dangerous, we all know it was just a few cherry bombs that you can buy anywhere even in the ice cream trucks.

out of all of san ysidro high's history, our troubles were the only things that were noticed on the news. this day was the best day of san ysidro's memory and would always keep the tradition going. it was yet harmful but no one got hurt thats all that matters.

This high school senior is an 18-year old adult and should now be treated like one! Excuses, excuses, excuses. Blah, blah, blah! He deserves to go to jail for as long as the law will allow. He was smart enough to manufacture these explosive devices, now his intelligence will enable him to figure out a way to survive in prison without getting gang-raped! DON'T DO THE CRIME IF YOU CAN'T PAY THE TIME! Tough luck loser, I hope you're little prank was worth a lifetime of laughter to you because everyone I know will forget about this by tomorrow.
