Santa Shooting Rampage: 9 Killed in Brutal Murder Suicide

Breaking news. Man in Santa suit kills three people at a Christmas Eve party, throws Molotov Cocktails, commits arson and burns down home. Tragic! Breaking news this evening, death toll later at seven and increased to nine as of 20:54 PT!

COVINA, California (Covina injury lawyer, Michael Ehline Law)

Witnesses stated that a male suspect dressed in a Santa Claus suit, burst into a Covina home and blasted occupants with a firearm at close range, while the people in the home celebrated a Christmas Eve party. It is further alleged that Santa then threw Molotov Cocktails (A Russian form of Napalm in a bottle) into the Covina home in the suburbs of Los Angeles, California.

The Covina home then caught fire. At least three people were confirmed dead earlier in the day according to the Covina police.The death toll increased to seven dead as the search through the burned out home progressed for charred remains. The death toll is now at nine.

The Santa impostor showed up at the Christmas party, began shooting the occupants with a handgun according to Covina police Lieutenant Pat Buchanan.

Officer Buchanan stated that at least three bodies were initially found when the fire was finally put out. It was later determined that the Santa used the fire bombs to ignite the fire.

Officer Buchanan also verified that three additional occupants of the burned home suffered personal injuries. These included a female, around 20 years of age, as well as an 8-year-old little girl. Both suffered non life threatening injuries from gunshot wounds. Another victim apparently had sustained a broken ankle during the Malay.

Covina Police have confirmed that the person of interest died in the inferno. His name, Jeffrey Pardo, 45 years of age. Officer Buchanan conformed that Mr. Pardo apparently had marital problems with a woman who was attending the Christmas party.

Covina Police had gotten many phone calls to the 911 phone center, that there were shots fired around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night. There were further reports that police heard gunshots and they arrived on scene. It is unknown if these were rounds cooking off in the arson house fire, or if the shooter was still blasting the occupants, as he was not captured and still though to have been at large.

Initially, the first responders and firefighters were not allowed to approach the inferno, since the sound of gunshots was still being heard on scene.

The fire was ultimately extinguished at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday morning, according to Covina fire Captain Mike Brown.

There was a lost of damage to the two-story house in the end of a cul-de-sac in Covina, a quiet suburb 40 kilometres east of Los Angeles.

This is without a doubt one of the most tragic stories I have ever heard!! What kind of monster shows up dressed as Santa and shoots and 8-year old child in the face, mercifully the child survived this assault but can you imagine the mental scars of being shot by Santa? I hope he enjoys his time in hell, it is well deserved.

Dressed as Santa, Bruce Jeffrey Pardo walked up to his ex-in-law's home in Covina, California, on Christmas Eve and knocked on the door.

Bruce Jeffrey Pardo was sought for a Christmas party shooting before taking his own life, police said.

An 8-year-old girl, elated to see Santa, ran toward the door.
That's when, police say, Pardo lifted a gun and shot her in the face.

Pardo, 45, with a gun in one hand and a wrapped present in the other, began shooting indiscriminately, police said at a news conference Thursday.

He sprayed the living room with bullets.

SANTA CLAUS BANK ROBBERY. At the time it occurred, the Santa Claus Bank Robbery was one of Texas' most infamous crimes and led to the largest manhunt ever seen in the state. It all began on December 23, 1927, around noon when Marshall Ratliff, Henry Helms, Robert Hill, all ex-cons, and Louis Davis, a relative of Helms, held up the First National Bank in Cisco.

The death roll keeps rising... it is now at 9. This is a very horrific crime and an example of Domestic violence that I hope North Americans won't soon forget!

May all the dead rest in peace. May their families and friends find some comfort.

I think more than one of the victims was a child. This is such a horrible story that you would expect it to only happen in a movie. I have never heard of such a hellish Christmas crime. Way too sad for words!

what a evil "christian"-thkgod xmas is only once a year.And to shoot an 8 yr old girl-unbelivable .As for "he was left nothing frm divorce"excuses he was only married one year so he didnt have to pay any money out in the divorce in the end,was waived so he didnt have to give her his house or anything. Also maybe he lost his job so he didnt have to pay her out?!.Watch out for older men who have vague pasts,he had a brain damaged kid who he didnt even pay chid support too. p.s Sounds similar to that twisted multimillionaire guy in England this year who went bankrupt, so he shot his wife/self and child & burned down their mansion&cars( so the business receivers couldnt repossess his property/cars .) That childlike "if i cant be happy noone gunna be happy" mindset. God help us.
