Sao Paulo building on fire, not caused by plane crash by hans_georg

A building in Sao Paulo is on fire.  Reuters earlier reported the Brazilian TV network Globo TV claiming that an airplane had crashed into the building.

Well, apparently Globo TV has retracted its report and instead the network says that the smoke surrounding the buildings was caused by a fire.

Local carrier Pantanal Linhas Aereas also denied the report that one of its planes had crashed in the city, South America's largest.

Brazil's airport authority also did not confirm a plane crash.
