Sarah Palin And John McCain Together Again For The First Time Since 2008 Presidential Campaign.

Former Republican VP nominee Sarad Palin spoke at a rally in Tucson, Arizona on Friday to give her support for McCain's bid to get re-elected as Arizona Senator. McCain picked Palin as his Vice President nominee in August of 2008. But, his choice was questioned by many Democrats and Republicans.

Palin talked about the damages of Obama administration with a special emphasis on health care bill. She praised McCain saying her former running mates always "stood up for the time-tested truths."

"I couldn't wait to get some of the McCain-Palin team back together again...," said Palin.

The re-election for the Senate seat in Arizona will take place on November 2, 2010. McCain is running for a fifth term in Senate with his major opponent likely to be former congressman J.D. Hayworth. The primaries are to be held on August 24, 2010. Aside from Palin, McCain is endorsed by Michael Medved, Bill Bennett and Jeb Bush.

McCain previously said that he was not planning to run for President in 2012, which might explain Palin's determination to endorse him for Senator. Palin is eyeing Presidential election in 2012 herself after resigning as the Governor of Alaska in 2009. She will campaign for McCain over two days with her next stop in Phoenix.

But, 2012 is still a good distance away. For now, Palin is actively leveraging her popularity by taking on a few franchises of her own. Yesterday, Palin was signed by Discovery Communications to star in a reality TV series about the state of Alaska. In November, Palin released her memoir Going Rogue: An American Life, selling over one million copies weeks within launch.
