Sarah Palin Is NOT The Mother of Trig [Photos+Video]

This isn't even a highlight or a story, which may be just as well as the material is actually libelous.

Joellerose, garbage like this actually hurts the Obama campaign because of the level it sinks to. This type of dialogue is what should represent America? I doubt many Americans who demand normal decency from their children will think so.

You've got to be pretty low to, in effect, attack a 14-year-old girl who's done nothing except be the daughter of a prominent parent.

This is an attack on Sarah Palin, not her daughter. This goes straight to integrity, something the republican party is completely unconcerned with. They love their elected officials to lie to them apparently. If her Christian values are that corrupt, she's definitely not fit for any office, much less the "Heartbeat away from the presidency" post. How you warp this into an attack on the daughter is illogical, and if this is true, rejecting her responsibility as the mother is far worse for her and her child...

You didn't even bother to read your own slur. That story alleges that her 14-year-old daught, who is named, was the actual mother of an illegitimate child.

That's pretty low. Speaking of integrity, an attack like this, which is not backed by any known fact, shows a considerable lack of integrity.

Now why do you support dragging a 14 year old girl's name through the mud for no reason?

The Democrats have 2 intermingled attacks going: the baby was born with Down's because Palin didn't take care of herself/the baby (and Downs isn't caused by gestation issues) and no matter what, the baby wasn't hers but her daughters.

This slurs are going round and round, boosted by the kind of people who enjoy that kind of thing, most especially slurring a kid.

    Im sorry but you're wrong when you say this (attack) story "is not backed by any known fact."  If you've read the whole thing it has plenty of facts.  What I assume you mean to say is that it has some facts, some unsubstantiated facts, and, at this point, is simply circumstantial.  Pictures, my friend, are factual evidence of what a person (or in this case, people) looked like at a specific time.  

   You are correct in saying that this story impacts a young child but its disingenuous to suggest that the intention of the story is to attack Palin's daughter.  Reasonable minds can disagree about a lot of things but not this.  This was clearly intended to attack, rightly or wrongly, Governor Palin.   

   Since she, Governor Palin, is a public figure, let the chips fall where they may.  Though it is very unfortunate that this would undoubtedly impact a 14 year old child  (I assume you got the age right), the implications are way too serious to chill debate and the media from investigating it.   

Not an attack. This is at least as true as Barack Obama being a muslim.

I just read the story from dailykos, and I'll tell ya, Sarah doesn't look pregnant in any of those pics and her daughter IS pregnant in those. I took the image apart in photoshop and other programs and those pics are NOT altered. In my professional opinion, those pics show a pregnant daughter.

And you can't fault the daughter for going along with mom's ruse, however it would question her credibility as a VP candidate.

If this story is true and by the looks of the in depth reporting then Sarah Palin needs to come clean quick. And God be with them in this storm.

I can't believe this is still here. It's not even a full post! As for the slime it spreads: there are many pictures of Sarah Palin pregnant, on the web. As for how much she "shows", in what garments, that varies with each woman. There's no national standard. There are many pictures on the web of models and stars who are 7 months or so pregnant who barely have a "bump." One of the most ludicrous photos that's supposed to "prove" Palin was never pregnant shows her bending forward in a long coat. A coat of that design does not revewal what's beneath at all.

And, the worst part of it: attacking a child. And without even bothering to do real research. That photo that shows a growing teenage girl being a little bit plump? Originall published in the Alaska Daily News in 2006. So if that was her purported pregnancy "bump", she sure did a good job of holding onto being pregnant, all the way to 2008.

My take: those who peddle such vicious attacks on a child reflect very well the quality of discourse and leadership that Barack Obama will bring. If you like it down and dirty and sleazy, goooooo Obama.

BTW, I would feel the same way if someone were falsely attacking a child of the Obamas via Mrs. Obama, or falsely attacking someone in Biden's family. This is just plain wrong.Will we next have non-sourced, false material claiming that someone's 10 year old skipped school and didn't get put in juvvie hall or something? It's coming, the way things are going.

I just thought of the whole reason this is going down.....John McCain did know and said if the Demos use this it will blow up in their faces spectacularly!  She's going to resign the nomination just in time for McCain to put in one of the other well known pics.  Mitt Romney, or some other well known, well liked, experienced Republican.  He'll be terribly sorry it didn't work out for Sarah Palin and he believed she was a strong candidate, but this close to the election he has to pick someone he knows and trusts...yata yata....Just watch....I'll bet he does something like this.....whatever Maverick, no sympathy vote from me....move on sailor!

It's a strong possibility. The evidence is from pictures of a trim supposedly 7months pregnant sarah, the deleted Facebook (MySpace?) from her daughter holding the child very comfortably in situation after situation to my eyes looks motherly, not sisterly.

So please do not jump to conclusions that this is IMPOSSIBLE or a slander. You don't know. But there is evidence. The truth will come out.
