ABC News' Teddy Davis Reports: Florida Democratic Congressman Alcee Hastings pointed to Sarah Palin on Wednesday to rally Jews to Obama.

"If Sarah Palin isn’t enough of a reason for you to get over whatever your problem is with Barack Obama, then you damn well had better pay attention," said Hastings. "Anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks. So, you just think this through."

Hastings, who is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, made his comments in Washington, D.C., while participating in a panel discussion sponsored by the National Jewish Democratic Council.

Good thing the gun toting crips and bloods don’t skin moose. We wouldn’t want them to be considered racists.

This might be one of the most ignorant statements I have ever had the displeasure to read in my ENTIRE life. The person making this statement obviously places no more value on the lives of Jews and African Americans than he does moose. Hunting wildlife DOES NOT indicate a lack of respect for other humans. There is no logic WHATSOEVER in this quote and I can't BELIEVE I have to SAY this out loud to literate, thinking individuals.

People voted that person into office. Certain individuals get a pass on every racist thing they say. Even look at Sen. Byrd's N word remark on national TV. That is perfectly fine as long as he is a democrat.

Well there is another story that has just come out that Sarah Palin made racial comments to a Duke Ellington Orchestra musician in Alaska and that his character is backed by a US News World Report lawyer

The illiterate fool who made that statement about Palin is the reason why so many people still vote Republican. The dems need to learn to speak proper English and stop making up non sense. They always resort to personal attacks, which makes them look stupid.

She reportedly also quipped about how "Sambo beat the bitch", in reference to Barack's victory over Hillary, as overheard by diners at a GOP luncheon in a local Alaskan restaurant.
