Officials in Afghanistan say election-day violence has killed at least two people in northern Baghlan province.  There have been at least four other incidents across the country, including rocket attacks in Kabul and Jalalabad and a report of several people injured in a bomb attack in eastern Afghanistan.  Afghan intelligence officials also say they have detained a suspected suicide bomber heading toward Parwan province, north of Kabul.  Despite all this, Afghan President Hamid Karzai has urged people to vote for their favorites of the nearly 2,500 candidates vying for 249 seats in Afghanistan's lower house of parliament
