Science blogging

I wanted to write about science for a long time, now I decide to do this after now on. Being a biophysicist and a bioengineer, I've been doing actual science research for my career. For the past years working with science, I came to realize the very equivalent importance of writing about science to general audience and am willing to fork out more time for doing this (let's start with a blog or a piece news report like this one).

Just back from a trip to the US, it turns out that many major websites, twitter, youtube,  are blocked, owing to the sensitivity of the 20th anniversary of Tiananmen (the gate of peaceful paradise). The conduct of the government is still shockingly predictable. After two decades, there nevertheless are systematic attempts to try to erase what happened. This is a setback to my upbeat eagerness for science writing, and of course, it no doubt testifies a manifest urgency of writing for evidence-based reports which are to the core of daily practice of science community.
