A Pakistani origin councillor in Scotland forgot his duties and responsibilities as an elected politician while visiting his origin country. In the usual way like most of the Pakistani politican he openly used AK-47 assault rifle at a terrorists training camp in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. What is horrific is that he took his young kids there and force them try their hand on guns.
A Glasgow councillor with roots in Pakistan has been suspended by the Scottish National Party for firing an AK-47 assault rifle at a military-style camp while holidaying in his native country.
Jahangir Hanif (46), whose pictures appeared under the headline "Councillor Kalashnikov" admitted after being suspended on Thursday night that his behaviour had been "foolish and inappropriate".
Hanif's 17-year-old daughter, Noor, said that she and four of her siblings had been driven in a blacked-out vehicle to an alleged training base in mountains in the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and encouraged to fire the weapon.
Video footage passed to the Glasgow Evening Times showed Hanif's youngest daughter, Sana, aged 5 at the time, being helped to fire the automatic rifle, the newspaper said. His son Ameer, now 14, also fired the weapon, as did his daughters.
