Both the police and the protesters exemplified the "civil" in civil disobedience. The marchers did disrupt traffic, but not to a crippling degree. The police politely cleared the way ahead of them and they and Freedom of Assembly and Freedom of Speech were upheld. "50 Shots!" was the chant that echoed down the canyon of buildings.
