Sean Duffy: Real World Boston Cast Member Runs For Congress

Sean Duffy, a Real World Boston cast member, is running for Congress in Wisconsin. Duffy, who currently serves as Ashland County DA, plans to run in the 7th Congressional District as a Republican. Duffy hopes to run against Democrat Dave Obey, who has represented the district for 40 years.

Duffy has yet to get the nod as the Republican candidate. He will be competing against businessman Dan Mielke in the Republican primary. Mielke, for one, is not impressed with Sean Duffy's Real World past.

He also said Duffy's appearance on "The Real World," a show involving drinking and sexual themes, erodes his credibility.

Sean Duffy is married to former Real World San Francisco cast member Rachel Campos-Duffy.

Surprisingly, Duffy is not the first Real World cast member to run for public office. Kevin Powell, who appeared on the first season of The Real World, ran in New York's 10th Congressional District.
