EADS CEO Sean O'Keefe and Son Kevin Survived Alaska Plane Crash

Sean O'Keefe and his son, Kevin, survived the Alaska plane crash that killed former Senator Ted Stevens and four others. The news comes from Ralph Crosby Jr., EADS North America Chairman.

The plane crash occurred oustide Dillingham, roghly 325 miles south of Anchorage.

The former spokesman for the space agency says he has talked to O'Keefe's family. They told him that O'Keefe and his son had some broken bones and other injuries.

Said Crosby,

"We owe a debt of gratitude for the heroic efforts of the members of the rescue crew and others who rushed to the scene. We look forward to Sean's full recovery and his rapid return to EADS North America."
