On Monday morning, police surrounded a house in
Seattle where
Maurice Clemmons suspected of killing four Seattle police officers was allegedly hiding. But, it seems Clemmons was not actually in the house. The siege of the house ended
early Monday morning. It is believed Clemmons was shot and wounded by one of the slain officers. Clemmons was granted clemency nine years ago by former Arkansas governor
Mike Huckabee and has a long criminal history. Clemmons was released from custody a week ago and was facing a charge of child rape.
But, who were the killed officers? The four police officers killed were identified are
Sgt. Mark Renninger, 39, and officers
Ronald Owens, 37,
Tina Griswold, 40, and
Gregory Richards, 42. All of them were married and had children.
The
Officer Down Memorial Page, a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring America's fallen law enforcement heroes, has the officers' bios already up.
Sergeant
Mark Renninger had 13 years of law enforcement experience, five with the Lakewood Police Department and eight with the Tukwila Police Department. He is survived by his wife and three children.
Officer
Tina Griswold had served with the Lakewood Police Department for five years and had a total of fourteen years of law enforcement experience. She is survived by her husband and two children.
Office
Ronald Owen had served with the Lakewood Police Department for five years and had a total of twelve years of law enforcement experience. He is survived by his daughter.
Officer Greg Richards had served with the Lakewood police Department for five years and had total of eight years of law enforcement experience. He is survived by his wife and three children.

God bless these 4 souls and the families who they left behind. The dark clouds swell above my conscience in the loom of the impending holidays. To the families, thank you for being brave and God be with you.
