Seattle Shooting: Four Reported Dead in Highland Park

A Shooting Occurred in Highland Park, West Seattle Around 1:30pm Thursday Afternoon - Four Are Reported to be Dead

Information is scarce but according to Seattle PI, four people were found dead in a house in Highland Park and the shooter appears to have committed suicide.

The incident started at about 1:30pm in the 9400 block of 14th Avenue, and when the paramedics were on scene attending at about 1:38pm, shots were fired.

Police were deployed with rifles and were looking for a 61-year-old Asian woman who was wearing a white shirt and gray sweatpants.

Two shots were reported to have been fired from the house around 1:45pm and that is when a man inside that house told police the shooter had killed herself.

Four people have been found dead inside that house, even though paramedics originally alerted Harborview Medical Center that two or three more gunshot wounds would be coming. Those people have now died. 

No identities are being released at this time.

Any motive for the shooting is not known.
