The 911 SeaWorld Call Released

The 911 call that was made during the tragic incident at SeaWorld was released today. Dawn Brancheau, a trainer at SeaWorld was drowned by killer whale Tilikum. Brancheau became the third person killed by Tilikum.

The call was placed by an unidentified SeaWorld employee when Brancheau was still under water in the grip of Tilikum. The caller appeared relatively calm, saying nobody knew what was going on. She said that as the tragedy was unfolding the personnel was told to call 911 and have people on stand-by when the emergency services arrive. From the phone call, it appears the personnel had no idea of the extent of Brancheau's injuries at the time. But, everyone was working hard on getting Brancheau out of the water.

Here is the audio file with the phone call.
