A 73-year-old man has died in a Scottish hospital of Swine Flu, the Second death in the UK and in the same area and hospital as the first death in Scotland.

The man had underlying health problems but it is expected, like the previous case for Swine flu to be put down as the mains cause of death.

The first UK victum was Jacqui Fleming, 38, she gave birth nearly three months prematurely at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, near Glasgow but she later died, with her child to follow days later.

An elderly man who was suffering from swine flu has died, health officials have confirmed.

The 73-year old was being treated at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley at the time.

A spokesman for the Scottish Government said he was suffering from underlying health complications.

The pensioner passed away late on Saturday night. He is the second person in the UK who was suffering from swine flu to die.
