You can check on how Your State's Representatives voted. On Stophousingbailout site.

See how your Senators voted on the BailOut Bill.

See which Representatives switched their votes in the House. Vote Switchers.

2 out of 7 Representatives from Louisiana voted yes on the Bailout.

But both Senators from Louisiana voted no. Sen. Mary Landrieu -D-LA, voted against this bill even tho sugar for Louisiana was supposedly added. She was offered the additional funding for Louisiana if she would not filibuster for 30 hours against the bill as she threatened. She didn't. Sen. David Vitter voted no also. Bailout Bill passed the Senate 74 to 25.

Elections coming up on Oct 4.

The protests continue largely ignored by the media. And the bill is even bigger now.

Thanks, Jordan, haven't been able to find an online site that lists the Senators votes on the Bailout Bill. Though the link above does have a Senators option, their votes were not listed. just when they were up for re-election.

René, I like this story. It's good stuff.

It's amazing how the representatives of the people really don't represent the people anymore.  We need to be more vigilant in who we elect to office.

What did you want your Representatives to do? We already know Sen Clinton voted for the Bailout Bill.

These are Louisiana primaries that were rescheduled from Sept. 6, due to Gustav, that bad fellow.

Rep. Brad Sherman D-Ca  says Congress threatened with Martial Law if bill is not passed. Many were told in private conversations that if we voted against this bill on Monday, that the sky would fall, the Market would drop two or three thousand points the first day-another couple thousand the second day-and a few members were even told that there would be martial law in America if we voted no.

The October Surprise? Army Brigade takes up deployment on Oct. 1 in the USA!

René, I like this story. It's good stuff.

Representatives: Mary Bono-Mack (R), and Ken Calvert (R), California's 44 & 45 Districts, both voted "YEA!."

Senators:  Barbara Boxer (D) and Diane Feinstein (D), both voted "YEA!"

None of the above switched their vote!
