As the presidential race tightens race is sadly being made into an issue. Supporters on both sides should remember to focus on the gains both women and minorities have made in the 45 years since MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech rather than trivialize them with outlandish comments.

I think it is important we make our decisions in this election based on the "content of a man's character", not on the color of his skin, as MLK would want us to.
