As the situation in Pakistan-occupied Baluchistan worsened and the pro-Jihad Frontier Corp fired upon Baluch girls and women, the DC-based American Friends of Baluchistan has urged Senator John McCain to step up to the plate and become an advocate for an independent Baluchistan.
U.S. vice president Joe Biden, who had long been an ardent advocate of bakanization of unnatural states created by the wrong policies of the British, including Pakistan, but appears to have become totally Press shy after assuming the vice presidency.

Ahmar, I am amazed at the naivete of my nationalist friends who expect a rabid neo-con to stand up for any just cause. One might as well appeal to Benjamin Netanyahu for solidarity. The biggest failure so far is not being able to identify who our friends are and wasting energies on wrong avenues

We have to appeal to everyone. Faced with Pakistani fascism, we can not afford the luxury of differntiating between rightwing or leftwing. Pakistan's coward military has lied to Republicans and Democrats alike.

We appeal all free born people to help us raise voice against the ongoing genocide of our people by the hand of Pakistan's Punjabi army. Western so called champions of democracy and Human Rights must take action against Pakistan now, before its too late!

I would avoid the term Balkanization. It has a negative connotation. The right to self-determination is a well established right, and should trump other factors. Moreover, Kosovo clearly established the principle that massive human rights violations by a state trump any historical rights, even if they exist -- which they do not in this case anyway.
