In an e mail sent to her supporters on Thursday, June 5, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, the first woman candidate to succeed as a viable candidate, advancing down to the wire in her efforts to become the Democratic nominee for the office of President of the United States, has written a letter to her supporters, in part saying:

I made you -- and everyone who supported me -- a promise: to stand up for our shared values and to never back down. I'm going to keep that promise today, tomorrow, and for the rest of my life.

I will be speaking on Saturday about how together we can rally the party behind Senator Obama. The stakes are too high and the task before us too important to do otherwise.

AN UPDATE:

Before a crowd of thousands in Washington, D.C., Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton addressed her supporters on Saturday, June 7, 2008, suspending her campaign and urging them during her speech to help the Democratic Party claim the White House in November by joining her as she worked to achieve that goal by pledging her full support to the candidacy of Senator Barack Obama as the Democratic Party's nominee for President of the United States.

We are experiencing technical difficulties, as in, TEXT DISAPPEARING INTO CYBERSPACE! Hopefully, this will be corrected momentarily.

Many thanks, Jordan, for struggling with me with this almost all morning!

Karen Hatter, I like this story. It's good stuff. She will be touting that Barack Obama has accpted her version of healthcare.  The speech will be more about her and less about Obama.  as soon as I get a leaked Copy I will get it out

Thanks, Al. Yeah, I can't wait to hear the speech myself and will be among the first to read it if you get that leaked copy.

Karen Hatter, I like this story. It's good stuff. Yeah, well I am sure Hillary's supporters were hoping for some of them there Plum positions if she were elected President.

By the way Karen, that Stahl Cartoon on "Primary Math" pm Obama and Hillary  you posted on Dunklebergs site was Good Stuff just on the cartoon alone, Absofrigginlutely Hilarious.

Thank you, Barry. As far as the cartoon, I didn't post it over there. I'm assuming it was obtained from the feed. I did have it posted at my piece, The Parable of the 'Baby'. I first saw it in that issue of Newsweek I wrote about in 'Reality' Card. I searched on line and found it!

It is such a great visual for all of the stuff I'd heard and read and Al found some real head scratching, mathematical figuring! When I saw "Primary Math" in Newsweek, I actually chuckled outloud.
