Democratic Senator Supported Health Care, FBI Sting Nets Washington State

A 63 year old Washington State man, Charles Alan Wilson, has been arrested by the FBI and faces charges of uttering death threats targeted at Democratic Senator Patty Murray.

Apparently, Senator Patty Murray death threats were motivated by Charles Alan Wilson's hatred of the Obama Health Care Plan - Sen. Patty Murray supported the Democratic health care bill.

I want to .... kill you," court documents say Charles Alan Wilson of Selah said in one of his foul-mouthed calls to Murray's office.

"Kill the .... senator! Hang the .... senator! I hope somebody puts a .... bullet between your .... eyes," court documents say he said in another call.

Wilson was reportedly the subject of an FBI sting operation, with an FBI officer posing as a representative from Parents United Now - part of Americans For Prosperity a conservative group that supported Tea Party events.

They don’t like hearing from me. . . .I call them every day... Wilson made the following remarks, which are similar to the rhetoric in many of the voice mail messages. “They need to be strung up, and I mean put the gallows. I will take no prisoners. . . . And I don’t care what they think. They want to come throw me in jail, they can go ahead and do that. That’s fine.”

Based on the FBI's phone conversations with Wilson they were able to confirm that calls from his number were repeatedly place to Sen. Murray's office, and that it is believed Wilson made those calls based on the similarities in voice patterns and rhetoric used.

Wilson also mentioned in his phone calls that he was registered to carry a concealed weapon.

“I do pack,” Wilson admitted to the FBI agent, a term that refers to carrying a gun. “And I will not blink…when I’m confronted, and that is a guarantee. It’s not a threat, it’s a guarantee."

some things fall uder free speech, some under domestic terrorist threats...its time to prosecute and jail those who threaten the lives of others

There are many people who didn't like the way George Bush ran his Presidency either but we didn't threaten his life. He lied about weapons of mass destruction and got us into two wars but we supported him because he was the President. I believe in my heart that President Obama is doing the best job he possibly can with the terrible mess he inherited from George Bush. Mr Obama cares about all the little people, not just his rich friends at the top. We need to put an end to all these threats, if we start arresting some of these crazies maybe things will quiet down. I can't believe what goes on in the Senate. Don't they have a Seargeant at Arms to keep the representatives under control? They need to be kicked out or fined when they start jeering and calling out nasty remarks. Maybe they would think twice before doing it again.
