AARP WALKS OUT ON PROTESTING SENIOR CITIZENS...AND CITIZENS TAKE OVER. (Note also, AARP has failed to notify seniors about the pending $400 or more billion cut to Medicare spending and the associated cuts to care)"

Obama Health Care is not about Health Care, it is about power! They are taking your liberties and invading your life. Founding Fathers Franklin and Jefferson both said approximately, "They who trade liberty for security soon have neither and deserve none!" Are we really going to trade some liberty for some health care security? I for one, would rather die early as free man than live longer as a slave, serf, oaf or jester for our Government? Have they stopped instilling the spirit of our fore father's in the youth in our Public School's? Are we really to the point where we are seriously considering trading away some of the liberty that our Founding Father's fought and died for just because we don't want to take responsibility for our own health care?
Next, ask yourselves, "Why are you not hearing about this on major media?" Why do I have to be your source of this information. Why are not your local papers and radio and TV Stations broadcasting this stuff ? Can't this alleged wonderful Obanma health care withstand criticism before it is voted upon? How can we all participate in the democratic process if the truth is suppressed? ......
Next, gosh darn it Republicans, now is the time to create a meaningful alternative. It is time to lean on the Medical Industry to offer a real alternative to those folks that need a safety net. The Medical Industry does not want this Obamacare either. Instead of letting Obama throw the baby out with the bathwater, let us keep the free market system parts that work and fix the parts that do not work. Now is the time to use that as leverage to make them cough off money or programs to create a basic safety net for those persons who are disenfranchised under the current model.
These thoughts were on my mind.
Respectfully,

This is the new transparency that all the wonderful people that voted for Obama have brought you. This is the change that was voted in . We have gone from bad to absolutely horrendous. All you Obama voters you can be proud that you have helped destroy this country. It is the job of the patriots to throw this bum out and all others that follow him lockstep. We have to take back our country, a little help would be appreciated when you Obama voters finally admit that you really screwed up.

I am a senior on Medicare. Prior to that, because of business losses and increasingly debilitating physical problems, I had no health insurance for seven years. Nor was I poor enough for state aid. I might have gotten disability, but I was originally told by the government that I didn't qualify even to ask for it--they never said I could appeal and I didn't know I could. So I suffered for years and got to the point where I could barely walk. Medicare finally paid for the operation I needed.
This is supposed to be the richest country in the world, so it is shameful that we let people get sick and die if they can't pay a doctor. It's just as unethical when the president of a health insurance company gets paid millions because he's instructed his employees to deny care to people who need it. They too get sick and die.
So a meaningful debate about health care reform would be wonderful if (1) Congress wasn't on the take and (2) the average American paid attention to facts. Helping the sick is not socialism. Screaming and keeping people from asking questions at the town halls is not democracy. Asking the government to help us--the way it is supposed to!--is not giving up liberty.
The reason the mainstrem media doesn't tell us the facts is that they are controlled by the very corporations who profit from our misery. Some legislators have tried for decades to get health reform. The best solution would be single-payer, that is, Medicare for all. Calling this socialsm is nothing but a Republican talking point. The Republicans have no solution because they are being paid not to.

Hello Sharons:
Calling it Socialism is not a Republican Talking Point. If the Founding Father's believed Health Care was a right they would have penciled it into the 11 not 10 Bill of Rights. It is not. So lets knock off this non-productive political party divisiveness. It is not Republican vs Democrat, it is WE THE PEOPLE vs Corrupt Politicians.... How can you even make that argument if you read my article. In that article I wrote -
"Next, gosh darn it Republicans, now is the time to create a meaningful alternative. It is time to lean on the Medical Industry to offer a real alternative to those folks that need a safety net. How do I get ripped on as being a Republican Party Hack after I write that. The fact of the matter is that you are one of obama's political operatives. You did not even read the article, you just regurgitated Obama's talking points instead of thinking for yourself. Please Stop drinking the Cool aid.
Yes, I have been a Republican recently, but lately the Republicans have not been acting very Republican. When I was younger i was a democrat.
Now I am a TEA Party TEA BAGGER. We don't take our marching orders from any political party. We think for ourselves. We don't think it is the Republicans vs the Republicans. We think the gosh darn incumbents caused this. Vote them all out regardless of poltical party.
NUKE THE INCUMBENTS!
I think you ow me an apology.
Patriotically,
