The Jewish vote in America is split like any other group.  I've always thought that referring to the 'Jewish' vote was a rascist statement.  Jews are like any other group, they are individuals with minds of their own.

Who is 'Tzipi Livni' and what is Sderot? where? and the house hit by rocket, while he was visiting? We're 'ignorant' over here.

Well Tzipi Livni is Israel`s foriegn minister, Sderot is a small town in the south west of Israel that for 7 years was under rocket attack from Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza strip.

The house was hit 7 months ago and was visited by Maccain during his visit so im guessing Obamas crew wanted him to see it also.

This is very important. I believe Obama confirmed his support for the state of Israel and felt that a shared version of East Jerusalum wasn't necessarily favourable.

Obama is still campaigning over there for voters over here on the taxpayer's money.

Hey, Rene, were you complaining when McCain was over in Europe and the Middle East on taxpayers dollars? Or when McCain spent July 4th, that's right, the Independence of the U.S. in South America? Did you care when he was giving a "Jobs for America" speech in Mexico? I thought so.

I agree with ya, moon, I am tired of U.S. politicians kissing ass to to AIPAC. However, I feel there will be a shift within the next few years, whether the U.S. likes it or not. Other Western and non-Western nations are already scaling back the unequivocal support for Israel, and are taking a more even handed approach.

Wow, 7 countries in 8 days! Just how many actual facts do you think he really got on that whirlwind tour? Did he talk to any women in those countries or just men?

Oh, oh, he stepped into Gaza! Now he can claim: 'I was there.' And talked a total of 45 minutes with Palestinian spokespersons. guess you can cram a lot of fact-finding into that. Anyway found this info on this blog. Is this true, oren? 45 minutes and that he entered Gaza as well as West Bank?

No he was only in Ramallah 10 minutes from Jerusalem, Gaza is under Hamas muslim extremists controll and is very dangerous for any westerner even Tony Blair could not enter last week due to threats on his life by al qaida palestine group, and he former pm of Britiain and the european quartet represntive in the middleast.

Gaza is off limits its now a muslim terror country with rules of islam in place much like taliban afganistan in the past.
