Seven state officials have been arrested in connection  with a Mexican fire day-care center fire that took the lives of 47 children in the city of Hermosillo.

Mexican authorities are charging the seven officials, who work at the state's finance department,  with negligent homicide. The officials were in charge of a warehouse where the blaze originated due to aa faulty air conditioner that ignited paper on the warehouse floor.
