Several trapped in Portugal train
Just a day after the horrific plane crash in Spain, a train crash has occured in neighboring Portugal.
Update 15:08 GMT: Media is reporting one girl killed and 25 injured, with some passengers still trapped in the train.
A train carrying about 50 people has derailed in north-east Portugal, leaving one person dead and others injured, emergency services say.
Some passengers are still trapped in the train, which unconfirmed reports suggest fell into a ravine.
The train came off the tracks in the Carrazeda de Ansiaes region, a wine-making area popular with tourists.
The train was travelling from Tua to Mirandela, derailing near the village of Brunheda just after 1100 local time.
"A derailment of a train with about 50 people [on board] has occurred and the train fell into a ravine," a spokesperson for the country's civil protection services is quoted as telling Reuters.
Local media are reporting that the person killed was a young girl.
