The severed fingers of five Americans being held hostage in Iraq have been sent to officials in the United States.
Although a grusome package to receive, it does give the family of the victims hope that their relatives are still alive.

The gruesome delivery has given the relatives of the men hope that they are still alive, according to the brother of one of the kidnapped men.
The contractors were abducted in two separate incidents that took place more than two years ago, a Washington official told the Associated Press today.
The incident was reported in the Austrian weekly magazine News yesterday.
Patrick Reuben, a police officer from Minneapolis whose twin brother, Paul Reuben, is among the missing, said that while he is shocked, he had feared the worst when he first got the news.
"Later on we found that it was fingers that were recovered and that the DNA confirmed it was the hostages," he said.
