The sounds of crackers makes volconic blasts in our heart. We don’t know what to do.Continous  Crackers  filled in all parts of the capital. When every winning moment announced by the national televisions , the sounds of crackers reaching the sky. 

Every announcement of a killed Tamil leader enjoyed by firing of crackers. Many groups of Singalese are waiting in every part of the city , every part of the street to enjoy the celebration. Every Street is filled with Singlese women who are making “Milk Rice” ( a symbol of joy)  and distributing freely to the persons walking in the streets and passengers.

The noisy sounds of persons travelling in the cars , two wheelers with srilankan national flag are filled in every part of capitial’s air. Songs are kept playing so loudly and many women and man are enjoying and dancing for the music in the streets. Every street dancing party has considerable amount of spectators.

“Jeya wewa “ this is what the sound we hear everywhere in the capital. “abbe hamuthavetta jeya wewa , abbe janathipathithumatta jeya wewa “ every streets , every car , every two wheeler riders spoke this words loudly , and it is getting louder and louder.

In every television the content is same. Interviews of peoples those who express their happiness for the LTTE’s defeat and the 2nd freedom they achieved. Many never forget to criticize about Mr Ranil Wikremesinghe. Many said if Ranil continued LTTE would get free tamil eelam.

A man who is standing in  street with Srilankan National Flag proudly says to a television that “ the country got freedom now , from now onwards , Singalese , Muslims , Whites can live together freely”.

Where is Tamils in that list ? Whether he forget to mention Tamils or he purposely avoided tamils in that list  ? Nobody has the answer.

All this enjoyment and pleasure is happening for the victory against LTTE.

“Why you never wear Srilankan Flag in your vehicle? Whether you forget or what?“ said an army soldier who is in street at an check point. We said sorry in the mouth and moved on.

Every Tamil house , Every Tamil Street , Every Tamil man & women has fear , has shock in their hearts. Many disagree with the situation , but at the same time  they understood it can’t be avoided. Everybody fear about the future. When all singlease people walking on the streets by hanging victory flags in their hands , tamils  feel being silent is the best way to pass on this situation.  So , Tamil Streets are calm and no sound. Nobody cared about tamils and tamil’s feelings and the celebration is at its heights.

The country got freedom from terrorism , so every vehicle should have srilankan flag and every government building should have srilankan flag for another one week. This is and order from the government.

This order never cared about  tamils feeling . This order highly knock down  tamil’s self respect and self esteem.

No one in the streets has any sense that this winning moment celebration will hurt another race which is affected party. Finally it become chauvinist partying . This hurts tamil people heart , it burns our feeling.  This celebrations encourages more chauvinisting approach. This celebrations makes more sorrow, more pain , more emotions in tamils heart because they have their loved ones as dead bodies.  

Singalese those who came in front of Tamil’s shops purposely fired the crackers , ate “Milk Rice” and purposely collected the funds for the celebration. Definitely this news is not good news for tamils. Those who gone with Tamil identity teased by Sinhalese with some annoying words. Those who has not celebrated are insisted to celebrate. Sinhalese insisted tamil people to wear the victory flags in their home and vehicle.

The Victory speech by the president will make this celebration to reach it heights. The interest on this speech among peoples are so high , so the victory celebration will be further high in coming days.  We really afraid whether this will be the base for the upcoming harrasements towards tamils. Tamils those who are in government side is completely exceptional.
