SFU SURREY is not dangerous.
Simon Fraser University Surrey is actually a safe place, from all the news of robbery’s, stabbings, and rapes. Surrey central is actually nothing near that bad.
Simon Fraser University Surrey Campus offers safety and security. As we see in the stairway security staffs are always present, there to give directions, borrowing pens and staplers etc. Most of all SFU security provides walks to our car and sky train at nighttimes now. Due to robs and attacks at night around the surrey district, security guards are now provided. This makes SFU surrey become a more secure place, when it’s not that dangerous at all.
In the start of the year, term 1 students hear a lot of rumours of crimes about surrey central. Making surrey central seems as a dark dangerous place to walk around at night. The first day, we were told if we have class late, when it was night we were allowed to ask for walks to the car with a security guard along with us, or walks to bus stops and sky trains. However, it seems that no one has ever asked for security walks, and late nights did not seem so scary at all. There are always people around walking, mainly students. Besides no matter where you may be if you hang out at night past 11 to 12, danger rates are high anyways. So despite all the rumours of crimes occurring in surrey central, surrey is not as dangerous as people who are not familiar with surrey central.
