Shaniya Davis Autopsy Results: Asphyxiation Is Cause of Death

The Shaniya Davis autopsy results have been made public. The autopsy had determined asphyxiation as the cause of death. The Shaniya Davis autopsy also indicated that the young girl had been raped.

So what is asphyxiation? Here is an asphyxia definition:

asphyxiation - the condition of being deprived of oxygen (as by having breathing stopped)

Essentially, the Shaniya Davis autopsy results indicate that the young girl was strangled to death.

Mario Andrette McNeill has been charged with first-degree murder and first-degree rape of a child. Shaniya Davis' mother, Antoinette Nicole Davis, has also been charged with filing a false police report, human trafficking, and child abuse involving prostitution.

Rumors continue to swirl that Antoinette Nicole Davis handed over her daughter Shaniya Davis to McNeill as a form of payment for a drug debt.

I am so heartbroken by this heinous tragedy. When I saw the pictures of that animal taking that baby to the hotel, my sleep that night was restless and broken. How in the world.....? This crime is an abomination to God and society. Contrary to popular belief, I do not believe the mother gave this child to this animal. I do believe that drugs were involved and that she owed him, but I truly believe that once she (the mother) had fallen asleep, he took her. I believe upon the mother waking up and discovering that the child was missing, she knew who had her because of her drug debt, but she did not tell the police. This animal (Mario) was in prison and had even shot someone in the face. This is someone evil, that you don't take lightly. I'm sure she was afraid, "guilty" with her involvement, and too ignorant to tell the police the truth. I in no way, shape, form, or fashion, am excusing her or lessening her participation. She was negligent from the beginning to allow scum in her home around her children. Let's see what facts this case will bring to light. Whatever they bring, we have an innocent baby that was tragically taken, and her mother will bear the torment of replaying this event in her mind for the rest of her life.

I don't think she will be worrying over the death of her daughter. When you saw her on tv in the court room she had known about Shaniya being found dead and she was'nt even crying. More over she is pregnant and she probably is hoping that her pregnancy will keep her from getting her just deserts. I have no sympthy what so ever for the mother of Shaniya Davis.

i hate that this has been done to this beautuful little gurl! i just cannot believe that people dont have the mind to protect and love their kids.. she was innocent and did not even get the chance to explore life.. the mother will have to bear this for the rest of her life including the visicious animal who hurt this little gurl... he and the mother are both fully responsible and they should be put to death with no remorse for them .... this is truly one of the saddiest storys that i have heard and it hurts my heart ... may both of them and any one else that was involved in this traggic event may they burn in helll.... as god is my witness ...if i would have evn as far as seen thiss littel gurl i the past i wouldve taken her and put her in the best of care.. i dont feel that the father should be feeling guilty or ashamed because it is not his fault AT ALL... ALL YOU CAN DO IS PRAY THAT THE GOOD LORD ABOVE WILL SEE YOU THRU THIS AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU SHE WILL BE TRULY MISSED AND ALWAYS IN MY HEART AND ALWAYS IN MY PRAYERS

i think the both of them should be skinned alive and then dip them in alchol over and over until they die of torture but not until they are raped repeatably over and over and over and then some they are a disgrace to the human race think about it how does a woman give her 5 yr old (or any age) daughter to someone for a debt for drugs and what kind of person takes the child for payment those sick sobs i hope they burn in a firey hell !!!!!!!!!1
