Shaniya Davis' funeral is set to take place Sunday November 22nd at 3pm. It will be held at the Manna Church at 5117 Cliffdale Road in Fayetteville, in North Carolina. It is open to the public.

It is expected to be attended by many who wish to say their goodbyes to the five-year-old, even if they have never met her.

Shaniya Davis was just five-years-old when she was taken from her home in Fayetteville North Carolina and her body was found days later in the woods. Mario Andrette McNeill was arrested and charged in her kidnapping with first degree murder and first degree rape, and her mother Antionette Nicole Davis was charged with human trafficking, child abuse involving prostitution, filing a false police report and interfering with the investigation.

Her autopsy results showed that asphyxiation was the cause of death, meaning that she had been strangled to death. The autopsy also showed that she was raped.

Her father Bradley Lockhart appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show yesterday with Shaniya's aunt to express their grief and heartache. Shaniya has only been living with her mother for about three weeks when she went missing, and her father tearfully described the last time he saw his little girl.

This is so sad and terrible about what happened to Shaniya. So young, so innocent.  So cruel and unhumane of her so called mother and the abuser; and anyone who was involved.  God Bless her family.
