Shaniya Davis Update: Mario Andrette McNeill Arrested, Charged
In the case of Shaniya Davis, an update has been made today, but unfortunately the little girl is still missing. Mario Andrette McNeill, 29-years-old, has confessed to kidnapping Davis and was last seen with her carrying her in to a Sanford hotel on Tuesday.
Watch a video of the press conference announcing Mario Andrette McNeill's arrest.
McNeill was captured on video with the little girl, who was reported missing from her family home in Fayetteville North Carolina early Tuesday morning. McNeill is known to police, having served four years in prison for a felony assault.
Kidnapping charges will now be dropped against Clarence Darriel Coe, who was first suspected of the crime.
The Observer said an unidentified witness allegedly saw Cole, who was released from jail Friday, drive away from the Fayetteville home Tuesday with Davis in his vehicle.
Police are questioning McNeill about the little girl's disappearance.

Once again we see pathetic police work in action. Just like in the Duke lacross case also in North Carolina. Someone says they see Mr. Coe take this girl through her dirty windows before the sun has come up of a dark skinned man. They should investigate this women along with the police force for incompetency. Then the next thing you know it is all over the Nifong Nancy show on HLN. And just like the Duke lacross case you have her running her mouth when she does not have a clue what she is talking about

We should be allowed to torture the people who take these babies, make them talk, it could possibly save the childs life. I'm so angered over this, the mother is no better than the kidnapper. She knew what fate was awaiting her child. You can not tell me she heard nothing.....

Tanner, who cares if they got the wrong guy the first time. FOCUS! It's about Shaniya, not some loser with a rap sheet as long as my arm.

Tanner, who cares if some loser with a rap sheet as long as my arm was arrested by mistake. FOCUS, it's about the child, not these low lifes who prey off the system. He is used to being arrested__noting new for him. They need to arrest her mother and get to the real reason this beautiful baby was taken..
