Sharron Angle: Woman punched in the face “looking for a fight”
Well it wasn’t really a fight, one of Sharron Angle’s Tea Party supporters punched one woman in the face and pushed another woman over the chairs, simply because they were leaving the event and had to walk past this man who is an Angle supporter and the woman were not.
From the Las Vegas Sun:
“Kelly Tanaka said an unidentified man pushed her over and punched her friend Thursday after the forum. The man was detained by school officials.”
“The 27-year-old Tanaka said the fight occurred because she walked past the man, not because she supports Reid and he backs Angle.”
Now Sharron Angle says the women were “looking for a fight” and that the fight was “staged“.
Sharron Angle is crazy, there can be no other explanation, well, she could also just be willing to lie and say anything to get a vote. She should have condemned the violence instead of condoning it and making a lame excuse by saying the woman wanted to get punched in the face..
Sharron Angle says that it was staged to take away the news story of the debate and focus on the woman getting punched in the face, because as Sharron Angle said she “looking for a fight”
After the town hall Sharron Angle sat down for an interview with right wing radio talk show host Jerry Doyle and she said to Doyle:
“Well I think this is a play right out of Saul Alinksky’s rule for radicals. What happens if you don’t want the news to report on the forum and the debate between the two contestants, you try to make a bigger news story. And the news story is the brawl, and so that’s what they did. They staged a fight, that’s the way that I felt it was going. There were two women that were actually looking for a fight, trying to get that to be the top news story and they succeeded.”
The Reid campaign response to this absurd claim by Sharron Angle:
“In addition to the extreme offensiveness of alleging the woman victimized by this assault was essentially ‘asking for it,’ this cruel and totally unsubstantiated allegation raises serious questions about Sharron Angle’s character,” said Reid campaign spokesman Kelly Steele. “Beyond her extreme and dangerous agenda for Nevada, Angle has said many things that cause reasonable people to literally question her sanity and whether or not Angle knows the difference between the pathological things that escape her mouth and objective reality – and this may take the cake.”
Because of the FACT that it was one of Sharron Angle’s tea party supporters who punched a woman in the face, Angle wants this to go away. She doesn’t want people talking about how her extreme words such as “second amendment remedies” are fanning the flames of hate and that some of her supporters are acting out with violence.
News reports, videos and security guards who broke up the fight all confirm what had been reported.
